"I booked for 2 people and they seemed surprised. They only provided one key which made all the planning extremely inconvenient as I had to attend a conference while my girlfriend was sightseeing. Very disappointed that they didn' have a second key."

"A lovely hotel that was tastefully decorated. The beds were comfy and the hotel put us right next to our friends we were travelling with. The pool was very nice and it was a bonus that the sauna and steam room were free. The Intersport ski hire was just at the side of the hotel so a very easy experience. "A dirty run down, so bad I walked out and had to book another hotel for the four days of our trip. The photos show a lovely clean hotel, don’t believe them."

"After a shaky start at check in and a mix up with our reservation our stay was great. Reception staff very helpful. Close to gondola with access to various slopes. Room was fine with well equipped kitchen etc. water a little cold in the spa swimming pool but overall would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"We spent 4 nights at Les hauts de Comborcieres during the Christmas break. The apartment was comfortable. It is very conveniently located near the ski slopes. The pool was really nice too. "Superbly located property, a few yards away from the lift with great facilities; garage, ski lockers, pool… we checked in online (which we strongly recommend) via the link the property sent which saved us queueing on arrival Saturday (queue was out the door!) - they will send you a SMS with you room number, go there straight away and your keys and instructions will be on the kitchen table. Brilliant! Would return if skiing in Alpe d’Huez again."

"The accommodation was pretty much what you'd expect of a budget ski residence, but was a long way from the village centre, the ski lifts, and even the bus stop which supposedly served the hotel. The cooking facilities were less than adequate, but otherwise the room was OK. The staff were pleasant, and we just about managed to make ourselves understood speaking "Franglais." "Depressing. Paid to hire bed linen and towels. Made up their beds on arrival. Stripped them on departure and had to clean the apartment. The cost of over £75.00 a night far too much for the appalling standard. "

"We had an amazing stay at Rocky Pop Grenoble. We found the room clean, modern with neccessary ammeties, good room temperature and the staff delivered an excellent service. We do not speak French but everyone spoke English including the cleaning team and they made the place feel very welcoming. Thank you all! As it was around Christmas time the hotel was very nice decorated and they also had a team of 5 people dressed as elfs which came to visit the hotel and and interract with people. Lovely!! The hote is 15min walking distance from city centre and across the road there are two supermarkets if anything extra is needed. The only downside was that we could hear the noise from the street during the morning rush hour but overall with the black-out curtians we had a good sleep! We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and lovely upcoming festive days! "

"Lovely hotel , don’t hesitate to book. Staff are most helpful. Beds are comfy. The only criticism would be that the rooms are very very small, only to fit a bed. However if you only intend to sleep there - they are fine. Beds are big and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants nearby. City centre 10 min walk. Train station 2 min walk. Tram stop right there. Grocery shop across the road. Very convenient! Highly recommend this hotel. "

"Une nuit paisible, dommage que des cendriers soient absents pour les fumeurs à l'extérieur, obligée de descendre pour utiliser la poubelle du RDC afin de respecter la propreté des lieux. Couvre lit taché et salle de bain avec rideau de douche pas pratique."
