"What a wonderful stay! This is a very unique opportunity to stay in an active Monastery. The grounds are buildings are beautiful and well preserved. The room was simple, but spacious and very comfortable. The Friars are warm and welcoming; they welcome participation in prayers and services, though there is no expectation to do so. "Half way to Bilbao ferry port from Costa Blanca. Hotel accommodation fine but Meals a little expensive so didn't have. Bodegas handy if wanting to stock up on vino."

"As a transit hostel it was OK. We unfortunately stayed on a Saturday and the town was closed and quiet. We struggled with the meal times especially dinner after 21.00."
