"We love Mountain Lodge have been staying here for years. It's a great balance of cost, ease of ski in/out, easy access to Gondola, shuttle to store or Mountain Village, etc. Staff is always great. The only downside is that the rooms are SO HOT! Even with the thermostat cranked down, the in-floor heating of the building keeps the rooms too warm. It was close to 0ºF outside our last night this year, but we still had to keep a window cracked to keep the room comfortable. "

"This property is older than some, but very well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and the fact that it is right by the river is an added bonus. The sitting area outside by the river with the hot tub is peaceful and relaxing. The hairdryer in my room did not work, and there was no soap in the shower. Also, the TV was very confusing to operate. In spite of these things I loved staying there and would again."

The Staff Make the Inn Special

"We have stayed at the Inn at Lost Creek many times and it is our first choice for a ski vacation. It is the staff that sets the Inn apart. Every member of the team was attentive to our every need. Whether carting our skis to and from the car, assisting us with medical care when we had a case of AMS or helping us with our 120 lb dog who wanted to say hello to everyone. We love being able to ski right from the front door to several lifts. There is only one downside to the Inn and that is the condition of some of the fixtures. The carpet is warn and needs to be replaced and some of the furniture is far too big for the space and not always functional for sports like skiing that have lots of clothes. However this is a minor quibble for an overall excellent stay."

The best condo at Blue Messa lodge

"I think this is the best located condo in the Blue Messa lodge building with the best view at the mountains and village base with Chondola. This unit is at the very top 4th floor and located right in the center of the floor. We loved the location and the view! 1 min walk out of the building to the Chondola and 1.5 min to the Village Express lift - very convenient, almost ski in/ski out. In proximity to all village stores and Free gondola as well. Our teenagers 16 and 13 yo were roaming at the village and Telluride all by themselves.Very good for family of four. Had almost everything needed for a week's stay.There are couple of things though I would improove - we had no spatula at all to cook with (borrowed it from neighboring family members). And the unit can be made so much more functional, utilizing loft and main area so much better - like more beds (vs sleeper sofa) to accommodate all the members of visiting families. There is so much space to make it much more interesting and functional. It is a big space but it feels small because there are so many tables and unneeded furniture.This is just a constructive criticism though. We still loved the place, and would come back again!!!"

"The condo was clean and well stocked. Close proximity to the village lift and gondola, maybe a 3-4 minute short walk. Would recommend this condo for a family or 4 friends."
