"This is a beautiful home in a very private neighborhood. The photos do not do this home justice; it is much more elegant, clean, and well-situated than a picture can capture. I will say you do need a car. While there are advantages to staying outside of Madrid (about 1.15 hours) for access to the nearby supermarket and restaurants, one needs a vehicle despite the short distance. "We loved our stay at Las Moradas. The hotel beautifully appointed and is located in the heart of the old city within walking to many wonderful sites. The staff was courteous and helpful. Parking is not onsite, but there is a parking garage within close range. Avila involves walking up and down many hills and the parking is no exception. "Hotel is perfectly situated, close to all sights, shops and restaurants , Rooms are clean and comfortable , Hotel sent us details where we could park our car to unload suitcases, the Hotel was around the corner so not far to walk and car was taken to parking garage and on our departure they bring the car back to same place"

"A quaint old fashioned hotel with plenty of atmosphere. Good views of gardens from room. Real wood doors and windows. Good bar and restaurant. Lovely cloister. Pleasant ten minute walk into centro alongside aquaduct and a further five minutes walk to Plaza Major."

"Beautiful trip I always want to go back to Avila and Parador is absolutely a great place to go is inside the walls and I strongly recommend everything is excellent. I wish they will have a coffee pot that you can make coffee in the room. They did not have it, otherwise it was a great experience "

"It is actually a beautiful trip It’s a beautiful city and the Parador. It is located in a beautiful where you have a fantastic view of the city we were given handicap Rome that appears to be quite small and there was now shower curtains, so there was water all over I should have decline that room and get a regular room. I think that they should have a coffee pot in the room where you can heat up your own coffee"
