"We had a very nice stay at Highland Dell Lodge. It had a cozy vibe. The restaurant on site was good with nice view of the mountains from our table. The breakfast was next level continental. They had more choices than any other continental breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. It is very close to Armstrong Redwoods. There is not a lot to do in the area but if you are looking for a relaxing place to enjoy the scenery and comfortable room with friendly staff you will really like this place."

"Loved this inn. The hospitality was wonderful. Liz was the chef on December 26 and everything was superb. She made a persimmon bread that was so moist and tasty. "Mike and Debbie are fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were amazing and our room was quite comfy. We took advantage of the hot tub. Perfect after a long day of hiking. There's also a sauna but we ran out of time. Maybe next time. We'll definitely be back!"
