"This hotel is pretty adorable. We only stayed one night to be near the airport at the tail end of a longer trip around Nicaragua. We chose this place because of the cute bar and cafe shown on the website and the airport shuttle service. The bar and cafe were both closed during our stay and the expensive "shuttle service" was just them calling a taxi, so not sure that worth it. "Very secluded, nice for a week of relaxation. Too secluded for a long stay. Belkis was great, took care of problems occurring in a timely manner. The food at Belkis restaurant is amazing, everything is freshly made from scratch. The ocean and beach are lovely. There’s no microwave in the kitchen, lots of ants and some mice, got to keep all your food in the fridge! We still had a great time, but 9 weeks is too long!"

"This is my second time staying at Casa Playa San Diego and I can't say enough about how wonderful both my stays have been. There was prompt communication and organization with owners (Robin and Vicky). In addition, there was great service and attention to detail provided by the property care takers (Belinda and Francisco). I really appreciate everything about this property. It's location is superb, the house is well maintained and the service is good. A great experience, I highly recommend!"
