She doesn't speak French, so she was very impressed with the staff ability to communicate with her and help her with all her needs. Customer service is what made this property to stand out. "The hotel staff was friendly and our room was clean and spacious enough for a family of 4. The hotel is close to some restaurants, but there is no place to walk nearby the hotel. The breakfast for €8.00 was very basic, no fresh fruit and no eggs but decent coffee. "

"After initial booking, don't expect much more help from the booking agency. And if French is not your spoken language, hire or ask a french speaking friend to help with booking the vendors. The recommended caterers are ok. Book the times 30 minutes earlier to ensure it's on time. And make sure ALL details are in writing and explored, or you may be disappointed."

"Stunning castle and grounds, nicely appointed with very traditional furnishings. Well maintained. Grégoire, his wife and family were gracious hosts - we felt most welcome during our week-long stay. We stayed in the old block and small tower, away from the main tower. Some may find the accommodation a bit spooky, we did, but after the first night we found it added to the adventure. The pool was very pleasant, around 27 or 28degrees so perfect temperature. In the immediate surrounding area...

"Apart from the bed collapsing on quite a few occasions, some of the parts of the house been mended by bodgit and scarper and the pool having seen better days. I quite enjoyed our holiday. It’s a lovely peaceful setting in which to enjoy the surrounding area. You just get the feeling that the house could be spectacular but they’ve gone for the cheaper option in order to maximise profits.
