"This place is such a gem. It’s incredibly private, surrounded by farm land. Despite its privacy, you are 5 mins from a fantastic local grocery store with local produce and meat. The house is so artistically restored, with beautiful mementos and artifacts around the house. My family really felt like they were staying in a fantastic, beautiful family home for a week. "The property was in a quiet location but had lovely views of the canal & attached swimming pool. The kitchen was well equipped but a kettle would have been useful for making cups of tea. The facilities were good but the balcony got very hot even at breakfast time so a parasol or some sort of shade would have been great."
