"It is a country house, run by a very nice accommodating family. They go out of their way to please you, and make you feel at home. It is a quite out of the way place, relaxed atmosphere. It was fine for us that were traveling to Lisbon, and needed a rest. I don’t recommend this place if you are looking fir beaches, or mountains. The Alentejo area is hot and dry."

"This retreat place has its charm in winter as been quiet and pleasant. The property is spacious, clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast option is convenient and the food is fresh. "

"No emergency numbers ie Doctor ,Dentist, Vet, Fire or flood or electricity. No information about shops bars restaurants or places to visit. Very very overlooked and close to neighbours with barking dogs and Crowing early morning Cockerel!!!. Had NO contact with owner apart from 1 Phone call never saw the man .
