"Easy parking in front for checkin then very easy parking across the street included. Also the included breakfast buffet was wonderful. We upgraded the room to 5th floor close to breakfast buffet and drink bar. Nice roof top access for nice weather. "

"Everything was wonderful ! Love the amount of pools and jacuzzi they have on first and second floor. The view from the room was amazing ! Few things need to be mentioned for all travelers : #1. They don’t have a bus or taxi service so if you need a ride need to call taxi ! #2. Mondays restaurant is closed so you only able to have sandwich ( nothing too fancy) and you can get drinks at bar ( huge plus). #3. If you reserve a room you get access to the spa , however , they charge 5 euros for hair...

"The staff at the Hotel Mondego worked very hard to make us feel welcome. We asked for directions, dinner suggestions and tour advice and they always had a ready answer and a smile. Loved the location in Coimbra, as well as our third floor room with a balcony view of the river. We had a wonderful stay!"

"The hotel and staff were beyond amazing. They were genuinely friendly and helpful immediately to any of my needs. The grounds, too, were very interesting. I spent 3.5 hours walking trails in the forest. It was delightful and relaxing. I want to come again and have my friends visit as well."

"Nicely renovated property with pretty good breakfast. The main downside is that their thermostat is centrally controlled (to turn on for heat or for cooling), and when we went the evenings were turned on for heat. We prefer it cooler to sleep and it was only possible to open the windows, which meant a lot of noise given the hotel’s central location. The hotel is recommended otherwise, so if you’re not a light or particular sleeper it’s a good choice in Coimbra. "

"We LOVED our stay here! Right from when we checked in, we got a glass of champagne and a snack, followed by a wonderful breakfast hand delivered to our room the next morning. Everything was spotless, and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that you should be aware of is there is no lift, so if you can’t do stairs, ask for a main floor suite. Highly recommend this place in Coimbra! "
