Access to this quiet apartment block is from the front, passing the sunny pool, where you can take a dip at any time, or the back, where you will find your private parking space. A convenient lift or stairs take you up to the first floor, where you enter your bright, light and welcoming home away from home.
On the right is the striking, luxurious bedroom with views of the Burgau hills. Next is a spacious bathroom with a double sink, large shower, bidet, and a WC.
The light-filled open plan living/dining area boasts a comfy L-shaped sofa bed, black-out blinds, and a cosy deep pile blanket for snuggling up to a late-night movie or binge-watching that Netflix show you’ve been meaning to catch. A fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table (there are some games and puzzles, too, for those little early risers), dishwasher and washing machine means you don’t need to leave your newfound haven unless you want to!
The balcony has a cheeky view of the sea if you lean a little out to the left… but if that sounds like too much work, enjoy a gentle sway on the hanging chairs and watch the world go by. A perfect way to start or end a beach day.

## Neighborhood
200 meters from the beach!
Just 10 mins away from the bustling holiday town of Luz and 20 mins from the charming marina and buzzing old town of Lagos, Burgau is the hidden gem nestled away on the beautiful coast of the Southern Algarve. There are several surfable beaches within a 10 min drive but Burgau beach itself is great for swimming, surfing and paddling for the little ones.
There is an abundance of places to eat and drink for such a small town and cuisines vary from traditional Portuguese to Indian to Tapas. Locals are welcoming and very friendly.
Within a few minutes walk of the apartment are 2 grocery stores, Rui’s cafe (famous for it’s epic gin pours), a bus stop that services the Southern coast, several bars and restaurants. Burgau beach has a charming beach bar that serves great drinks and food all day.
## Transit
Although public transport is available in the area, it is limited. If you really want to explore the area, a (rental) car will make your life a whole lot easier. Free street parking is available all throughout and around town.
