"My wife and I stayed at the Bryne Hotell after a Burns Supper organized and hosted by the hotel. A very enjoyable event accompanied by traditional music (a visiting Scottish band), bagpipes, whisky, haggis and poetry. A great local band Ållveltes also played later in the evening which made for a fun night. Hope to do it again next year. "Nice host. Nice country setting. Nice house. Watching the farmers plow and harrow a field then bailing hay in an adjoining field. Hiked to Pålberget -a 1500 year old burial site top of the mountain to the north. Also visited Stavanger, Preikestolen, Kjerag. Pleasant stay all around."
