"Excellent renovated castle in a quiet area 20 min from Maastricht. The hosts are very polite people and accomodated us although we arrived late at night. Breakfast was also excellent. The room was very spatious and quiet. We had a great rest. Overall I highly recommend the place if you are looking for a different hotel experience."

"This is a lovely B&B just outside Maastricht in the Belgian countryside. It’s run by a lovely couple who take great pride in their property and give excellent service to guests. We used the number 62 bus which leaves from the top of the road, about a 10 minute walk, and goes to Maastricht railway station. Breakfast was excellent, can’t recommend highly enough."

"We spent 3 weeks in Europe. The B&B de Oude Winning was by far, and we mean "by far" the best accommodation we had. The service was beyond the best and the accommodations were sparkling clean, modern, and everything was outstanding. We'd go back in a minute and we'd recommend it to anyone. "

"The wifi is terrible. I could only use it in the stairwell. It's quite a ways from the train station if you are walking with heavy bags (about 1km), but across the street from one of the three caves. It was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. "

"When I opened the room, there was a queen-size bed and a small bed. As it was only a short stay, I chose the small bed. But I didn't like the mattress, it was too soft, like jelly, and it caused me to pain all over my body."

"An overnight stay on our way to Germany. Our room was in one of the out buildings of a small but very lovely 12th century castle. We were met by our host who was very welcoming and booked in really quickly. The room turned out to be more like an suite, very large and comfortable and with a nicely furnished sitting area. "Unaufdringlich, freundlich, gewissenhaft - so wird man gerne versorgt. Mit dem Frühstückskaffee konnte man Tote aufwecken - hervorragend! Die Aufforderung, sich wie zuhause zu fühlen, war keine Floskel. Der Umgang war persönlich und zuvorkommend. Das Anwesen hat eine individuelle Note und ist mit vielen Details liebevoll gestaltet. Wer raus will aus dem Alltagsgetriebe, ist hier gut aufgehoben."
