"This hotel is a wonderful retreat. It’s very relaxing with beautiful scenery. Close enough to go explore or just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. The pools are beautiful, the gardens are wonderful. The landscaping is fabulous. We had dinner in the restaurant one night. It was amazing. But nothing compares to the breakfast each morning. I’ve never seen anything like it. The food was absolutely scrumptious. This is a wonderful hotel that I would definitely stay in again."

"Monemvasia is really an interesting, beautiful location. Be aware that this is not convenient - there's a long walk into any hotel there and lots of stairs. "We stayed in the deluxe suite and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from our deck was breathtaking and we loved the suite setup. They include a delicious breakfast from their lovely restaurant. If you have mobility issues I don’t think this hotel would be a great choice. For everyone else I would highly recommend. If we were to be in Monemvasia again we would 100% stay here. "

"Situated almost immediately by the bridge to the island, AKTAION Hotel was quite comfortable, and well positioned for restaurants. My room was one of the smaller ones, but it’s balcony faced the island and the sea. I would most happily stay there again if the opportunity occurs. "
