"Villa des Dunes is lovely - a really nice quiet spot right by the beach, in a lovely old building. The host made us and our little dog very welcome, she made us a lovely continental breakfast and even made up a picnic lunch for the next day. We would definitely stay again!"

"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth! "This place was awesome. All of us including the children loved it. House is located in the picturesque countryside in Brittany not far from mount St. Michel. It was clean, organized, newly renovated, and well equipped. All beds were comfortable including the pullout couch. Restaurant and grocery store close by. I wished we could have stayed longer."

"Veronique was a great host - nothing seemed to much trouble. Our room was spacious and well laid out. Breakfast in her kitchen (as it was raining) gave us a chance to 'chat' with her good English and our poor French - great fun!"

Eric had prepared a list of recommended restaurants in the area, which is helpful. The room was quiet and spacious. "Vieux-Viel ist ein kleiner und sehr ruhiger Ort. Für uns war es als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Region ideal (Mont St. Michel, Avranche, St. Malo, Cancale, etc...). Supermarkt und Tankstelle sind in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Frisches Gebäck haben wir bei den Bäckern in Pontorson bekommen. Egal wo, die Leute waren immer super freundlich :-). "Very clean comfortable apartment in a wide open space opening out onto the pool. Great seating area on the balcony (Downstairs apartments had a good space outside their units). Apartment was well fitted out. A little far from the village but easy driving and parking. A good location to explore Mont St Michel."
