Negatives are power cuts & related water problems are there, bit of a old villa and not a carpeted one for a 3 star status. "

"Filthy place. Not half what is advertised. Dirt pool, dirty fridge. No free wifi no free cable tv, not even a bed sheet to cover during the night. 2 towels for 4, of which one scratched. Safety concerns with broken elec near the pool. Room not ready on arrival, breakfast not ready the next day (very basic) birds eating the pervious day leftovers in the restaurant kitchen, not clean either."

"La villa est très bien placée, à quelques mètres d'une très belle plage. Il faut une voiture car il n'y a aucun commerce et restauration accessibles à pied à proximité. La maison est grande mais n'a rien d'une villa de rêve : manque d'entretien général. C'est dommage car il suffirait de quelques petits travaux et nouvelle décoration pour la rendre plus agréable à vivre. Il faudrait la traiter également contre les cafards. Nous n'avons eu aucun accueil, ni de contact avec le propriétaire durant...

"La villa Maya a été un véritable havre de paix pour nous à partir duquel nous avons organisé notre découverte de cette île splendide. Du Morne Brabant, au Cap Malheureux en passant par Pamplemousse, le parc de la Rivière Noire ou l'Ile aux cerfs, nous avons sillonné l'île depuis Trou d'eau douce avec facilité.
