"Der Check in gestaltete sich sehr einfach und konnten sogar etwas früher rein. Bei Anreise hat uns der Gastgeber kurz besucht und uns diverse Haushaltsmittel, Kaffeekapseln und Tee vorbeigebracht. Die Räumlichkeiten sind so wie beschrieben gewesen und auch sauber. Parkplätze sind vor Ort vorhanden, teils kostenlos oder auch gegen Bezahlung. Wobei wir Glück hatten einen kostenfreien Parkplatz zu bekommen. "

"This nice little apartment in Courseulles-sur-Mer was just right for a short stay. We had everything we needed.The view of the marina with the sea behind was lovely, with the loggia providing shelter in case of bad weather. It is a convenient base for visiting the D Day landing sites and easy to get to the ferry ports. However the car park is not directly beside the apartment, which made it more complicated to load and unload the luggage."

Das Appartment ist in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend, der Weg in die kleine Innenstadt von Cabourg daher etwas länger zu Fuss, aber schön am Strand entlang. Einkauf auch gut zu Fuss oder mit dem Auto machbar. Cabourg bietet nicht allzu viel, die Umgebung dafür sehr viel. Der Balkon der Wohnung war sehr schön, leider zu klein zum draussen Essen. "Hosts are wonderful. Could not do enough for us. Unfortunately we had difficulty finding the place as the address on the Vrbo web site took us to the wrong end of the long road. Communication was challenging and fortunately the host found us. Really quiet location. Only a short walk to sword beach. Comfortable accommodation. Close to supermarkets and Caen. Unfortunately we forgot to bring our Euro plug converter so if you are from uk make sure you take it. Plenty of plug outlets accommodation....

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
