Welcome to Vieques Island, PR. Paradise unfolds... Fragrant flowers, tropical fruit and acres of lawn make up the surroundings at Villa Vista Linda. The driveway is lined with hibiscus shrubs, bougainvillea, oleanders, fragrant plumeria trees and other lush, tropical flowering plants and trees. The scent of gardenias and the beauty of orchids abound. You have arrived at Vista Linda.

Located in Pilon, in west-central Vieques, this gated private estate offers spectacular views of the southern coast of the island towards the Caribbean Sea. Well worth its name...Vista Linda! (Beautiful View).

Enjoy a peaceful, private vacation experience in a style of graceful tropical elegance. Within the six-acre estate is the Villa proper. The upper floor houses the main living areas with its 20-foot high ceilings and cooling ocean breezes. Venture out into the veranda and take in the gorgeous view. Festive dinners for up to 12 people can be held at the long French Country dining table. And afterwards, settle in for an after dinner drinks or coffee in one of the cozy sitting areas.

The lower level or Terraza offers more possibilities. Bright, open and airy, the arched columns and filigreed ironwork let fresh breezes blow through for true alfresco living. Lounge with a cool drink from the Coqui Cabana Bar or enjoy lunch or a sunset dinner from within the Terraza or Poolside.

The crown jewel of the estate is the gorgeous pool with its spectacular unobstructed and expansive views of the southern coast including Mt. Pirata - the highest peak on the island.

Set apart from the villa and adjoining the terraza and pool is the Casita, a charming small house with its own living room, kitchen/dining area and beautifully appointed bath.

Among the available sleeping accommodations are the master bedroom and 3 guestrooms in the Villa, and a private suite in the Casita.

The villa's spacious master bedroom combines a feeling of luxury with a sense of the tropics. Tall, richly finished teakwood doors and antique wood furnishings add to the effect. Cooling sea breezes can be enjoyed during any season and guests can sleep in air conditioned comfort if desired.

The Villa features three more bedrooms in addition to the Master bedroom. Two bedrooms are at the opposite end of the villa across the great room. The first offers a queen bed and the second has two full-size beds. Each bedroom has ample closet space and together the rooms share a large and well appointed bathroom between them. The third bedroom is located on the first floor of the Villa and has a queen sized bed, it's own entrance and private bath.

The Casita bedroom features a queen bed and and a beautifully appointed bathroom. There is a futon in the living room which will sleep one adult or two children quite comfortably.

Nice and relaxing
Had a nice time. House was nice with plenty of room, awesome pool and grounds. Great food everywhere we went, unique adventures, nice beaches and all of the locals were friendly. Weather cooperated and drives on the island were nice and scenic. Owner and house manager very responsive. Thanks again for the adventure!

Beautiful views and property
The view from the veranda is magnificent. The house is very nice and spacious. We had three couples and had more space than we needed. Loved the pool, the open concept. Enjoyed seeing the horses and walking the grounds. The marble floors by the shower and after coming in from the pool (while lovely) are treacherous. So much old-world charm. We really enjoyed it. But do be prepared for insects, lizards and mice in the house. Even so, a truly one of a kind experience.

Another fantastic visit
My family and I have stayed at Vista Linda several times over the years. Each time we have brought another family with us and Vista Linda has always been a wonderful home and an important part of our Vieques experience. The location is both beautiful, secluded and very central. With a big group, lots of kids and two families, the big spaces and numerous bedrooms are fantastic. The pool is perfect for an end of the day cool off and the pool table always sees lots of use. There have been some great upgrades in the last year that made it even better. In all of our visits to Vieques I have never seen a place that I would rather have stayed and I look forward to coming back again.

LOVE, LOVE LOVED IT!!!
Vista Linda was a dream come true! From the moment we drove up the driveway, it was clear we were in for the vacation of a lifetime. The island is wonderful! The people are kind and caring and the staff at Vista Linda was so helpful! The house manager met us at the airport, and gave us a complete tour of the house. The beautiful bouquet of fresh cut flowers was such a nice touch! After unpacking and relaxing by the pool, Vista Linda became our home away from home and we were able to revel in the peace, quiet and privacy. It is close to both Esperanza and Isabel and the beaches. We loved waking up each morning to sunrises in the master bedroom! We are looking forward to another stay at Villa Vista Linda!

Great home for family vacation!
We loved our stay at Villa Vista Linda! The house was very large, and the pool / outdoor area was amazing. The pool was larger than many hotel pools and had a deep end - kids LOVED it!! The view from the pool deck was incredible - with a view down to Sun Bay on the east and the sunset on the west. When we were home, we spent most of our time in the pool and in the cabana area downstairs. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook at home. Beach chairs, coolers, noodles and pool toys were also provided. Although there is no air conditioning in the main living area and kitchen, the bedrooms each had their own unit. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. The house's location was perfect, we felt close to Esperanza, Isabel, the south shore and north shore beaches. Karen, the property manager, was great. We exchanged texts several days during our stay. She was quick to answer and very helpful. Next time we are in Vieques with our kids, we will certainly try to stay here!

Paradise!
Staying at Villa Vista Linda was absolutely incredible. As soon as we entered the gated property we were blown away. The grounds, the pool, the view, the house, everything far exceeded my expectations. The bedrooms each had AC units which kept them quite comfortable. The main living space upstairs got pretty hot during the day, however this was not an issue for us. It's an island in the middle of the summer, so it should be expected, I only mention it so you are prepared. The downstairs living areas were very comfortable in the heat of the day so if we were home that is where we hung out (or in the pool). The space by the sun bay mural was an absolute favorite for relaxing. Many times during the stay we took a blanket under a tree and took in the beautiful grounds. Karen, the property manager was fantastic. She met us at the home and showed us around, and checked on us multiple times a week via text to see if we needed anything. The pool guy was also awesome. He kept it in perfect condition and was so kind when he was there. This place was truly magnificent, it was a dream vacation. I hope to come back and stay here again next year!!

Loved our vacation at Vista Linda
Overall we had a fabulous stay. I loved waking up every morning and watching the sunrise while listening to the birds. We loved the house and the property. It’s a large home, that is very open with very large doorways. It is hard to explain but you almost feel as if you are outdoors while in the home. The upstairs patio is the length of the home. There are screened doors, so that you can keep the house open when there is a nice breeze. Obviously, it gets warm there, but each room as it’s own AC. There is not an AC in the main area, so be conscious of that. We were also unable to keep the living room fans on without the lights on because they are on the same dimmer switch. I was traveling with four kids. Mostly teens, but one four year old. Their phones worked well on the property for the downtime before bed. Unfortunately, the internet in the house wasn’t consistent, so we were not able to watch tv in the main living room. We tried to use the DVD player, but it was broken. Had I noticed earlier in the day, I would have reached out, but it wasn’t critical. There was just one night where there weather wasn’t great and my young daughter wasn’t tired, so a family movie would have been perfect for her. I’m still leaving 5 stars, because it wasn’t critical. The pool was great and the teens were constantly entertained between the pool, pool table and property. We ventured out every day exploring the island, so there wasn’t a ton of time that we were at the house when we weren’t tired. I loved the location because it is somewhat in the middle of the island. We went to several places every day and it was very convenient. There was a beautiful view from the pool deck and I just loved the home. The only downside is we wished we had planned for more time! We can’t wait to come back for a visit. The only thing I would do different is coordinate our vieques air link flight with our San Juan flight a little closer together because we had a lot of waiting time in between. I also read there is a flight directly from the San Juan airport. There is some snorkel gear on the property; which is a plus, but we didn’t see it before buying some. I would definitely pack some of our own next time. I would also go to the large grocery store the first day, because places have limited hours. If traveling with young ones, I recommend bringing some entertainment for downtime. We bought some paint and painted coconuts on the lawn. Love Vieques!

Amazing Home and Property on Vieques
This home is gorgeous with a fantastic pool. there were six of us but there was enough room for 6 more. The property had bountiful fruit trees scattered about. roosters crowed at the break of dawn, and the sounds of vieques filled the home in the early hours. sunrise was incredible. we spent more time at the property than we normally would have, just because it was so fun. it has everything you could need. We loved our stay and will be back.

Feel like royalty- only more relaxed!
We had a great time at Villa Vista Linda. The property is HUGE and the house is gorgeous. We were four folks, but easily could have accommodated many more. It's in a nice location near Esperanza and the Tin Box, but very peaceful. The pool is lovely for late night soaks. NOTE: When you rent the house, you get exclusive access to the entire property. There won't be anyone staying at the guesthouse. It is very private, peaceful, and luxurious. I highly recommend it!

Fabulous
We had an amazing time in Vieques and the house was fantastic. Beautiful home, extremely comfortable and well appointed. The property manager, Karen was very accommodating and made our stay even more enjoyable. The one issue we had with the hot water was attended to immediately and resolved. Karen took care of all our needs professionally and promptly and the owners should be thrilled to have her represent them. We will be back with an even larger group as the house is very spacious and affords plenty of privacy for individual couples. Great experience!!!

Great place for family and peace and quiet
My family stayed here as a pre-wedding getaway. There were a total of 5 adults and one baby. The house is extremely spacious where we never felt on top of each other. The in-ground pool, pool table and grill gave us opportunities to spend time enjoying each other at the house. The house was furnished beautifully and comfortably. The only reason we did not give the house 5 stars was because there were several items not in working condition.(I.e.1 bedroom aircondition, living room fans, electrical outlets, lights, and the grill ran out of gas in the middle of cooking dinner and the promised replacement was never delivered). We did let the house manager know right away but there weren’t any fixes during our stay. However, the house owner reach out very quickly after checkout to apologize and it was very appreciated. They are continuing to work on those things to get them in order. Other than that, we loved the house and the island!

Amazing but BIG property
Just had an amazing time with our family at Vista Linda exactly before Hurricane Irma went over Vieques. Although we had to cut short our vacation in order to return to the main island of Puerto Rico we can only have praise for the property caretaker Yadira. She made us feel at home and went beyond her duty to help us out. The property as such is excellent. My only qualm with it was it is so big that at times you feel disconnected from the rest of the group (we had to call each other on our cells at times!!) The only problem encountered was the air conditioner in the pool house "casita" was not working and the property owner refused to have it changed (thanks God Yadira helped us with a fan from her own home). Also note that the main living quarters are in the second floor; if any of your guests have mobility issues going up and down stairs may be difficult. My nephews and sons enjoyed the pool immensely. All the beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. The gardens and fruit trees were beautifully maintained. Overall a great choice for a large group.

Paradise
This home was amazing! The property is huge and filled with all sorts of fruit trees. We definitely picked a few coconuts, mangoes, and guineps. The pool was perfection. Honestly, we probably spent more time in the pool than our beds. We also barbecued on the grill and all the utensils you could possibly need are provided. The home was simply perfect with amazing views of Vieques and the ocean. We had more than enough space for 3 couples. Honestly, this home could probably fit 10 or more people comfortably. The pictures do this home no justice. I highly recommend to anyone visiting in Vieques.

Wow! What a week in paradise!
The Vista Linda was amazing from the location on the island to the view from the entire villa.From the time that we were greeted after our arrival to the moment we had to leave we enjoyed the entire stay.The villa is spacious for a group of our size.The pool was large ,clean and refreshing.The kitchen a perfect place to cook a meal with room to spare.We even found a pot to cook our fresh,huge local lobster.I appreciated Karen who is so hard working and quick to help out and answer questions.We would go back in a heart beat.Thanks for the memories!

Incredible house!
Myself and 6 friends absolutely loved Vista Linda. The house is huge, has loads of character and has everything you could ever ask for. Karen was a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed, including accompanying us to a local supermarket. The house is located in the heart of some of the best parts of the island. The pool was so perfect, as was the pool table! Absolutely faultless, could not recommend more.

Movie Star Palace
The listing photos simply can't do this property justice! Tucked away in a seemingly mundane neighborhood, one passes along the drive toward an automated gating system--opened/closed by remote control--and winds along the drive through six acres of land toward the property. The large open area of the first floor invites with easy-to-keep-clean stone tile and a bar-height table. You almost feel like a movie star as you pass through the area and onto the pool deck. The beautiful pool maintained perfect temperature for early evening dips throughout the week. Ascending the winding Hollywood staircase (perfect for weddings, BTW) and through the massive wood doors at the top brings an indescribable feeling of luxury! Then, you enter the astonishingly large great room and all prior notions of heaven recede into memory. The lanai off the great room provided cool evening breezes for pondering the stars at night and cool morning breezes to watch the sunrise over Sun Bay and Mosquito Bay. The bedrooms could be left open to the soothing air most nights and the coqui (tree frogs) sang us to sleep. The master bath can comfortably sleep eight in the Jacuzzi, but otherwise provides a comfortable and private way to clean up from the day's activities. There are many kitchens in the main house and "guest" house, poolside showers, and really too many amenities to mention that helped make this a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Many of the better restaurants are within a coconut toss of the property, as are the beaches and the Malecon (restaurant/bar area). Karen, the property's caretaker, was excellent at helping us get from the airport to the rental car agency and to the property, as well as helping us figure out how to match our interests with and navigate the island. She is THE best. The only downside was having to return to the mainland.

Villa Vista Linda group trip
This was my wife and I's third trip to Vieques and third different property that we stayed at. This time we had a group of 10 and Villa Vista Linda (VVL) was perfect for that size group. it was large enough so we could all have our own free space but also large enough for all of us to eat or talk together as well. The pool was amazing as well.

Absolutely wonderful!
This is a perfect house for a perfect vacation. Splendid, expandable, incredibly supplied in the kitchens (3), space galore,endless views, close to beaches. Come often, stay late, or never leave. In addition, Karen Murphy, the manager is always there to answer questions and assist with any and all things. Always with a smile and a laugh, and has a host of repair people should she need them. An extraordinary person in the tropics.

The whole place to ourselves!
The house is very large with beautiful views of the Caribbean. The bedrooms are spaced far away from each other and are air conditioned. The house offers delightful spacious common areas, one with a mural of the beach, another with a full sized Brunswick pool table, another with a media center, and my favorite; the coqui bar! the pool is magnificent, the whole time we were there I kept expecting that other guests would be arriving. We went there for my sons college graduation present. Fantastic experience for all of us. I would go back.

Paradise
Our friends had recommended Vista Linda as the place to stay aon Vieques, so we booked our stay. When we arrived we immediately understood why our friends were so impressed. the picyure on the site though amazing do not truely represent how wonderful Vista Linda truely is. The Villa and grounds are amazing. The panoramic views of the Countryside Bays and Carribean are amazing and ever changing. The Villa sits in rural Pilon and with 6 gated Acres and the privacy and quite was just what we were looking for. We were immediately in relaxation mode and spent the first day (and many more) enjoying the pool and grounds. On beach days we explored the many choices Vieques has to offer and were convenient to travel to from the property. The Villa provide beach chairs and umbrellas, a cooler and all the ice you could use. Just too many amenties to mention. Vista Linda is a slice of Paraise. We can't wait to return.

Paradise
Our friends had recommended Vista Linda as the place to stay aon Vieques, so we booked our stay. When we arrived we immediately understood why our friends were so impressed. the picyure on the site though amazing do not truely represent how wonderful Vista Linda truely is. The Villa and grounds are amazing. The panoramic views of the Countryside Bays and Carribean are amazing and ever changing. The Villa sits in rural Pilon and with 6 gated Acres and the privacy and quite was just what we were looking for. We were immediately in relaxation mode and spent the first day (and many more) enjoying the pool and grounds. On beach days we explored the many choices Vieques has to offer and were convenient to travel to from the property.
