Welcome to Vieques Island, PR. Paradise unfolds... Fragrant flowers, tropical fruit and acres of lawn make up the surroundings at Villa Vista Linda. The driveway is lined with hibiscus shrubs, bougainvillea, oleanders, fragrant plumeria trees and other lush, tropical flowering plants and trees. The scent of gardenias and the beauty of orchids abound. You have arrived at Vista Linda.

Located in Pilon, in west-central Vieques, this gated private estate offers spectacular views of the southern coast of the island towards the Caribbean Sea. Well worth its name...Vista Linda! (Beautiful View).

Enjoy a peaceful, private vacation experience in a style of graceful tropical elegance. Within the six-acre estate is the Villa proper. The upper floor houses the main living areas with its 20-foot high ceilings and cooling ocean breezes. Venture out into the veranda and take in the gorgeous view. Festive dinners for up to 12 people can be held at the long French Country dining table. And afterwards, settle in for an after dinner drinks or coffee in one of the cozy sitting areas.

The lower level or Terraza offers more possibilities. Bright, open and airy, the arched columns and filigreed ironwork let fresh breezes blow through for true alfresco living. Lounge with a cool drink from the Coqui Cabana Bar or enjoy lunch or a sunset dinner from within the Terraza or Poolside.

The crown jewel of the estate is the gorgeous pool with its spectacular unobstructed and expansive views of the southern coast including Mt. Pirata - the highest peak on the island.

Set apart from the villa and adjoining the terraza and pool is the Casita, a charming small house with its own living room, kitchen/dining area and beautifully appointed bath.

Among the available sleeping accommodations are the master bedroom and 3 guestrooms in the Villa, and a private suite in the Casita.

The villa's spacious master bedroom combines a feeling of luxury with a sense of the tropics. Tall, richly finished teakwood doors and antique wood furnishings add to the effect. Cooling sea breezes can be enjoyed during any season and guests can sleep in air conditioned comfort if desired.

The Villa features three more bedrooms in addition to the Master bedroom. Two bedrooms are at the opposite end of the villa across the great room. The first offers a queen bed and the second has two full-size beds. Each bedroom has ample closet space and together the rooms share a large and well appointed bathroom between them. The third bedroom is located on the first floor of the Villa and has a queen sized bed, it's own entrance and private bath.

The Casita bedroom features a queen bed and and a beautifully appointed bathroom. There is a daybed in the living room which will sleep one adult or two children quite comfortably.

Vista Linda is the perfect choice for your Caribbean getaway, a quiet vacation retreat, family reunions or special gathering of friends.

You have a choice of booking 3-bedrooms (Main House), 4-bedrooms (Main House plus the Coqui Suite) or 5 bedrooms (the entire property; Main House plus the Coqui Suite plus the Casita). Including the Casita, Vista Linda provides 10,00 Square feet of living space under roof.

Great location and large house
We enjoyed our stay at Vista Linda. It was conveniently located to everything on the island and a short drive into Esperanza and Isabel II. There was plenty of space for our group of 12 to hang out, and the pool was great. The view is spectacular, probably one of the best on the island. The house is very dated and needs a refresh, but that's true of many rentals on the island, so we didn't view that as a significant negative.

The pictures don't do justice!
When booking this property, It seemed nice enough. But upon arrival, we knew that the photos did not do justice to how spacious and nice the house and casita were!The rooms seemed palatial, open, plenty of space for a family to spread out and have both togetherness and privacy from each other.We loved the well-appointed kitchens, the pool, the screened doors and a/c in the bedrooms, all the towels and beach chairs and coolers, and just about everything else about the house and property. We understand it will be going under renovations soon, and hope it still maintains the "wow" factor when done.

Perfect property for our family of 12. The kids really loved the pool and having the pool table was a great pastime for the teenagers and adults. There was plenty of space so you could find a little quiet space if you needed it.

Perfect for a large family. Multiple bedroom rooms and a large area to the whole family to hang out. The large pool was clean and inviting. The washer/dryer made it easy to keep clean without having to pack a ton of clothes.

Back to Villa Vista Linda
We have stayed here before with a larger party for our wedding. We loved the house then and we loved it now for a small post holiday birthday trip. Expansive grounds and well secured property with lovely pool and lots of room for all. Huge kitchen with a lot of prep space for our fresh caught fish and, although the appliances are a little old, they all worked perfectly. Highly recommend!

This house was phenomenal! We were a big group ranging in ages from 20 to 76. The house had entertainment for all. We utilized all of the house, we ate breakfast by the pool, played on the pool table till night fall, it was amazing.

Had a great stay from beginning to end. Karen welcomed us to the island and answered all our questions. The house is large with plenty of space to gather as a group or find a quiet place to read and enjoy the views of the island. Would choose Vista Linda again for our next trip to Vieques.

Great large family/group retreat
We all enjoyed our stay at the beautiful & spacious Villa Vista Linda with enough rooms for our large family to spread out and relax. The views were amazing, the pool was our favorite place to hang out with plenty of loungers. The property has so many beautiful and lush plants making it very private and secluded. Myself and 13 others stayed at this property for 4 nights. Karen was excellent and very responsive. The house is equipped with everything! Including beach gear and floats for the pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet with great views.
Vista Linda is a great home in a very quiet location. It has great views of what I believe is Sun Bay and Mosquito Bay. Its about equal travel to Esperanza and Isabell. The property is well managed and maintained. Very Gracious Host. The house and grounds are lovely and have plenty of activities. I would definitely bring my family back. Book a stay, you'll love it. We had nine guests in our party with plenty of room to spare. The property is absolutely amazing and Karen, the property manager was very knowledgeable and caring. The locals were great as well. Cannot say enough about the property. Five star experience. We will be back!

Peaceful Paradise
Vista Linda is a perfect paradise retreat! Nestled in the peaceful hills of Pilon, Vista Linda has incredible views overlooking both the Carribbean and the Atlantic. The huge pool is a ton of fun before, after or instead of the beach! Located halfway between Isabel and Esperanza, Vista Linda gets the best of both sides of the island. The spacious rooms (not that you'll spend a lot of time there) have some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on! I would definately recommend a visit to Vista Linda!

Fantastic Family & Friends Features
First time on Vieques was fantastic. Actually already scheduled another trip for March. Vista Linda is in a great secluded location on the island to get from one side to the other. House worked out very well for our group of family and friends. Vista Linda has everything we needed to relax and have fun. Karen (house manager) was very knowledgeable about the property and the island. We will return to Vista Linda again in the future.

Perfect blend of solitude and access to all of Vieques' activities
Our stay at Vista Linda was fantastic from the get go. Easy communication with owner and property manager made check-in a breeze. The pictures, as fantastic as they are, don't do the place justice. Awesome place for a large family as people can come and go as they please (many times a few of the adults went off for an activity while the young kids were happy to lounge poolside). The house was well stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain. We don't often return to the same VRBO because we like to experience new locations, but Vista Linda will be an exception to the rule.

Peaceful Paradise
Vista Linda is the perfect quiet, tranquil get away. Perched up in the hills of the Pilon district of Vieques, Vista Linda is away from the noise and tourists of Isabel and Esperanza. As this is not my first trip to the island, I always enjoy staying in different places and trying new restaurants. Vista Linda is close to some of my favorites- Chez Shack and now Noche and Tin Box are also right down the road. Although it is a drive to the beach (but where isn't???) being up in the hills offers constant breezes and views to die for! I will definately be back to Vista Linda!
