Great place to stay. Highly recommended.
The property is beautiful and feels very quiet and peaceful. Even though there are three casitas we often had the property to ourselves. The view from the pool is astonishing. Property is in a great location. Less than a three minute drive in to Esperanza. Maybe ten minutes to Isabel. You should rent a vehicle while there.
The pool is actually bigger than it appears in the photos. The casita was well equipped and the AC worked very well.

Note that because this rental is surrounding by jungle there were mosquitoes. Get bug spray.
Also, the island has a lot of 'wild' roosters. The roosters like to wake up early in the morning and serenade you. Occasionally I had to run outside and chase them off. This is true of every location on the island.
Playa de Negra was underwhelming although the short jungle walk to get to it was pretty. Don't plan a whole day there. There are better black sand beaches all over the world.
Playa la Chiva is incredible. All the beaches out in the eastern end of the island in the wildlife refuge are amazing and worth the trip.
