Liked the situation. The room was quite small with the large bed taking up much of the space, but I wouldn't change that.
No slippers. Coffee provided but no tea....
Breakfast is served on their 7th floor restaurant, only four options, all with pork. I asked for just fruit and the guy had no idea, so I left. Then I learned that the cable snapped in the elevator, causing the elevator car to fall 4 stories full of people and the manager was impossible to locate after. On the other hand they were very nice to print out some important docsuments for me, as well as making me some copies with no charge. The bed was very comfortable and the hot water in the shower was terrific.
As a budget hotel I thought this was good value for money.
- staff were friendly
- room was very spacious
- staff were helpful
- room had good amenities (fridge, safe)
- hotel was in a good location near many restaurants and attractions.
Only two downsides were:
- hotel tried to charge me twice when I had already paid Expedia. The should resolve this issue with Expedia and not me.
- pipes from sink leaked
Given I paid about $40 per night happy with the value for money I got.
Cheers.
This was a six-story hotel w/ the 7th floor being area for breakfast. The hotel was in a new condition, but could be cleaner. For instance, hair left over the drain and hair from prior occupants on the bathroom floor. Things I do not want to see in a hotel. This was a very typical high rise hotel with very little green space and lack of comfortable seating area in the lobby area. The chairs were nice but if you want to launch in the hotel and work/relax, there was not space for that.
Comfy bed. Close to all the restaurants, friendly staff, nice bathroom.
Good hotel for the price defiantly. The elevator was a bit buggy. A/C unit needed a filter clean.
I've stayed in comparable places in laos and this was definitely quite nicer than the others. I'll stay here again.
For the price it was ok, but I wouldn't stay here again. I was on the 2nd floor, the window faced a building that was about 1/2 meter away. There were ants all over the desk, water leaking in the bathroom, lamps over the bed not working, the TV was fuzzy - what's the point? And they didn't make my bed the next day. The only good thing was the view of the city from the 7th floor where they have breakfast.

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Modest accomodation
Modest two star hotel, reasonably comfortable and clean but lacking adequate wi-fi service. Breakfast a bit less than satisfying.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Great for situation and comfort but many things need fixing, safe, door of shower, balcony door ect.
We stayed two nights, no one cleaned our room / emptied our bins. The bathroom was not at all private. It was too expensive for what it was - our friends were staying around the corner at a much better hotel - cheaper with a pool - but good breakfast and nice view.
Had a nice stay. The staff are helpful and the Hotel is located close to and a short walk away from all the main attractions and the Mekong River/Riverside eateries. A short walk from the Hotel and you'll find yourself on a main thoroughfare, filled with groovy restaurants and cafes. You've got to try 'The Jazzy Brick'. Sample one of their "full Plate" dishes, they also make great milkshakes and the staff there are delightful.
Location, nicely designed and internet works well.
Location : centrally located, so convenient within walking distance of everything in the tourist area.
Room : nicely designed with comfy bed and cleaned. TV provided many choice of international on the cable TV.
WiFi : working well for chatting and checking email.
Staff & Service : Nice view of Vientiane from the roof top where breakfast was served.
We were on the 6th floor with a small balcony, the room is small and clean. I had no warm water in the shower, but in the other room they have! Good overlooking to the city, it's a pitty that there are more high building in construction. The restaurant is on the 7th floor, the don't have many selection for breakfast.
The hotel is in the centre, close to the Mekong river (nightmarket), culture hall, shopping streets and a few temple.
