Our flat is located on the top floor of a Viennese Wilhelminian style building. Located directly at the Lainzer Tiergarten in the west of Vienna (west entrance, close to the A1 highway) in a very quiet residential street. There are good public transport connections (S-Bahn S50, buses). A large shopping centre (Auhof Center) with 100 shops (incl. pharmacy, supermarkets, bakery, medical centre, restaurants, cinema etc.) is within walking distance.
The flat is divided as follows: the 60m2 open-plan living/dining area impresses with its view of the natural garden, the dark floorboards and the fully equipped kitchen with a cosy dining area for 6 people.
There is a fireplace with a window for romantic winter evenings.
The larger of the two bedrooms is furnished with a double bed (140cm wide) and a fold-out sofa bed (140cm).
In the second bedroom there is a double bed with a width of 180cm.
There is also a very nice wellness bathroom with shower and bath and a separate WC.
Our house is located in a quiet residential area surrounded by nature and forest. From here you can start your excursions to Vienna (nearby are Schönbrunn Zoo, Schönbrunn Palace, the Technical Museum, the Lainzer Tiergarten and in 15 minutes by S-Bahn you are at Westbahnhof and thus in the centre of the city) and Lower Austria (castles, palaces, waterfalls, lakes etc.) and can relax in the evening thanks to the cool, fresh forest air.
There is plenty for children to discover: there is a lovely playground within walking distance, as well as the municipal outdoor pool in Hadersdorf-Weidlingau and the Wienerwaldbad Purkersdorf in summer. The path along the Wien River is ideal for cycling, inline skating, walking and discovering nature.
The neighbouring Vienna Woods and the Lainzer Tiergarten zoo, as well as the Purkersdorf Nature Park with its game reserve, are great places to experience nature for young and old. You won't get bored even when it rains: "Tigers World", a great indoor playground in the Auhof Center, and the Cineplexx cinema are within walking distance. The Technical Museum is very attractive for adults and children, and of course Schönbrunn Palace and the zoo.
