Great location, pimp rooms
This hotel is right near the subway station by the scary name of "Taubstummengasse", which actually is right downtown. Within stumbling distance of a couple of Christmas markets. Great location, pimp rooms, near all the 'gasses'. What else could you ask for?

Almost a perfect experience.
The only drawback was the poor picture quality on tv in the room, and the lack of an English speaking channel.

Spartan rooms
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No information package in the room about facilities etc. Floor not cleaner from the previous occupants and I was there four days. Bed was comfortable. Located close to the city centre about 900mtrs. Beautiful city. Picture shown for this hotel is incorrect, this building is about 1km away in another street! I booked this hotel on the strength that it looked a decent place. Wrong!! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Hotel needs a complete modernisation.
The walk into the centre of Vienna from the hotel was dirty and noisy. We were clearly given the worst room at the very top. Drunks were running about on the balcony/roof area. The toilet smelt. But the blocked sink was mended quickly.

Great location near the central square and beside some lively bars, lovely atmosphere in the area. Comfortable stay with a very helpful and freindly receptionist.

Review for recent stay...
No WiFi in rooms because the front desk said the owners keep saying someone will be out to fix "this week", which im sure is still nit fixes and WiFi in lobby was poor on mobile electronic. No air conditioning in rooma and fan provided was a small desk fan that we had to put on a chair and point directly to the bed to get some cool air flow. No additional fans or extra pillows available. Wall Light switches were broken and only working lights in room were from lamps you had to manually turn on and off. Hotel lobby is very dated with stains in carpet. The evening desk staff were extremely friendly, neighborhood is close to train and 15min walk to State Opera House, which is where the hop on hop off bus starts. I would consider this a motel vs. hotel as its not standard from other hotels I've stayed at in the area.

The stay is very nice. However, as other reviews said, this hotel locates at a busy street. Therefore, if you are somewhat sensitive to noises, you will be disturbed...

Not really a hotel, more a building with some rooms in it shared with flats and offices. No parking for cars to unload luggage, no bar, no tea or coffee facilities in rooms, no air conditioning, noisy street.

No air conditioning, it was broken we were told. Had to sleep with windows open on busy road. We were supplied with fans. Terrible entrance to Lobby with a distinct musty odour.
