Penzing, Vienna's 14th district, is a lovely residential area that borders the Vienna Woods. This upscale area has a little something for everyone, with a varied dining scene, convenient transportation, and several hospitals. Penzing's biggest attraction is undoubtedly the scenic Vienna Woods, a beautiful green space that's perfect for sightseeing, hiking, or picnicking. Other landmarks include the Kirche am Steinhof, an Art Nouveau masterpiece designed by Otto Wagner, and Schloss Loudon, a Baroque castle with lovely gardens. Penzing's cultural scene includes the Ernst Fuchs-Museum, an ornate villa that has been turned into a small museum highlighting the artist's paintings, and the Technical Museum Vienna, a kid-friendly museum devoted to science and industry. The neighborhood is served by Vienna's U3 and U4 Metro lines as well as a number of train lines.
