Their entire staff quit and instead of informing us, we arrived at the hotel for check in to find a note on the door stating that the hotel was closed. We had to re-book at the last minute, and despite being promised a refund by Expedia, I have yet to see the money given back to me. For an entire staff to quit an employer must be treating them truly terribly. I would not ever recommend endorsing this by giving Carat Hotels any money whatsoever. Find another place to stay that is not owned by this hotel group.
