Abstand!
Vor dem "Hotel" angekommen hatten wir die Hoffnung, dass das Zimmer nicht so aussieht wie der Eindruck von außen vermuten lässt. Doch drinnen war es schlimmer als angenommen. Flair einer Erziehungseinrichtung.... Fließen begrüßen einem beim Einstieg. Rundum dreckiges Äußeres. Dreckige Fugen, schlechte Verkleidung, Blutfleck und Haare auf der Bettwäsche. Müll des Vorgängergs oder Vorvorgängers in der Dusche und Schränken... Angefangene Seifen.... Schmutzige Toilette und kaputter Spühlkasten. Bei Betätigung der Spülung fiel diese ständig ab. Dusche und Schreibtisch dreckig. Durchgelegene Matratze von der ich Rückenschmerzen bekam. Zimmer zur Straßenseite,daher war es auch sehr laut. Zudem war es im Zimmer unglaublich heiß, trotz abgeschalteter Heizungen...man hat es nur mit offenem Fenster im Zimmer aushalten können....Haben uns auch gar nicht getraut, etwas auf den Schreibtisch abzustellen, da dieser bei der kleinsten Bewegung zum Zusammenbrechen wirkte.... Das Hotel erinnerte uns an den Film Hoste...l. Dieses Hotel muss man sich wirklich nicht antun.

Något som jag aldrig skulle rekommendera till nån.
Checkade ut omgående och lämnade hotellet efter vi sätt "rummet" - kunde inte tänka mig att bo en enda natt - blev erbjuden ett annat boende i en andra ända av Wien men detta var inte möjligt för oss. Rummet var belägen i en total mörk korridor - belysningen i korridoren fungerade. Två lampor fungerade hjälpligt av cirka ett dussin möjliga lampor i rummet. Ägaren verkade vara medvetande om det bedrövliga skicket - och i mitt fall är detta det sämsta "hotell" av tusentals som jag har upplevt under mina 66 år. Hoppas inte vi eller någon annan får uppleva något liknade. Räknar med att jag ska få mina pengar tillbaka.

I booked this because it was close to a subway station and I would not need to change trains to get to my meeting for the week. I wanted something inexpensive because I would only be in the room to sleep. The room was very hot and the radiators could not be controlled. The window was easy to open. The window was well insulating and it blocked most of the traffic noise at night. There was no room service, but I probably could have asked for more toilet paper. It was an interesting place to stay in Vienna. There are inexpensive shops and restaurants by the U-bahn station. I would stay there again to save money for the opera, but likely not for four nights.

Strašný hotel
Po příjezdu v 15h nebyl pokoj připravený, museli jsme čekat. Pokoj byl zanedbaný, zařízení v koupelně dost rozbité. Lůžkoviny načichlé kouřem, nebyli jsme si jisti, zda jsou vůbec převlečené, podobně to bylo i s ručníky.

Horrifing experience
The hotel is not called Cyrus anymore...it's Syrus. The hotel has not been renovated for years. The fotos have nothing to do with the hotel/hostel. We bokked two nonsmoker rooms...all were smoking rooms and stinked. They clean every day, but i did not see the effect of it. We paid(our msitake) and did not recieve a reciept. First night, a boiler poped and filled the flor with water and we were without warm water, heating or power. One room had no tv, the mirror was hanging from a frame with ducktape, and the reclinig chair inside was tworn to pieces. The other room had the sink in the hallway and was not fixed and fell a couple of time and there was water comming out everytime you washed. One bed was lacking a foot(10cm) and my friend could barely sleep because any movement tilted the bed. The matrace had a hole under it and felt like sleeping in a hole. Everything is falling apart! The most horrible experience. Please that this HOSTEL of the website!

Katastrophaler Aufenthalt... nicht zu empfehlen!
In einer sowieso schon sehr dürftigen und runtergekommenen Rezeption empfangen, wusste sich der werte Kollege vor Ort erst einmal selber nicht ganz zu helfen. Nachdem wir über den engen Aufzug, der auch schon bessere Tage gesehen hatte, zu unserem Zimmer gebracht wurden, haben wir aber erst einmal unser blaues Wunder erlebt. Im Folgenden eine kurze Übersicht: Negatives: - Allgemein unangenehmst verdreckte Zimmer - "Möbiliar" ist fast außeinander gefallen - Wer sich getraut hat, auf die Toilette zu setzen (die erstmal von den ganzen Haaren und Schmutz bereingt werden musste), durfte das nicht mit zu viel Schwung machen, da sich das ganze WC verschoben hat. Konsequenz war, dass das halbe Wasser anstatt im Klo auf den Boden geflossen ist - Schimmel in jeder Ritze und Kante - Nicht Staub, sondern Dreck auf den wenigen benutzbaren Ablageflächen - Dreck und haufenweise Haare in Waschbecken, Dusche und allgemein im Zimmer - Wände mit Löchern, herausstehende Nägel, etc. - Ins Bett konnte man sich erst mit 1,5 Promille und mit langen Klamotten unbesorgt legen, zumindest waren dann die diversen Flecken auf Matratze & Co. nicht mehr so abschreckend - Unfreundliches Personal Positives: - Seife und Duschgel waren industriell, insofern safe. Duschen hat man sich da ohne vorige Impfungen aber sowieso nicht wollen. Fazit: Von dem 3*-Hotel Cyrus raten wir dringendst ab. Tut euch was gutes und nehmt 10€ mehr pro Nacht auf euch, bevor ihr euch diese Absteige antut.

Das ist eine Absteigeunterkunft
Das ist eine Absteigeunterkunft. Es stinkt und ist voll dreckig . Das war eine voll eklige Erfahrung die ich je in einem Hotel gemacht habe. Einzelzimmer hat 47 Euro gekostet. Das ist eine bodenlose Unverschämtheit. Nie wieder möchte ich meine Füße da reinsetzen.

Ondanks dat we al ruim van te voren geboekt hadden en daarbij aangegeven hadden dat we een late aankomst zouden hebben, kregen we te horen dat het hotel volgeboekt was en er geen plaats was voor ons. We werden met een taxi naar een ander hotel gestuurd en er werd ons verzekerd dat daar plaats was en we niks hoeft te betalen. Daar aangekomen bleek dat het hotel ook vol zat. Naar veel buitenlands gediscuseerd werden we weer in taxi gezet met een personeels lid van het hotel en werden we naar een of ander appartement gebracht waar het leek alsof er vluchtelingen verbleven. Er stonden alleen twee bedden op het kamertje en toilet en douche moesten we delen met de bewoners. De volgende dag konden we wel inchecken in het tweede hotel, hierbij werd gezegt dat we toch voor drie nachten moesten betalen. Wat we niet gedaan hebben omdat we bij boeking al betaald hadden. Dit werd uiteindelijk geaccepteerd. We kregen nog wel een ontbijtje aangeboden tijdens het wachten op de hotelkamer. Helaas is tijdens ons verblijf van 3 dagen geen enkele keer de kamer schoongemaakt en kregen we ook geen schone handdoeken, hier hebben we uiteindelijk zelf om moeten vragen. Al met al een zeer slechte ervaring.

Horrible, nada recomendable.
Cuando llegamos al hotel, éste transmitía mal ambiente desde el principio. El recepcionista muy desaliñado, no tenía localizada nuestra reserva y nos dijo de pagar una cantidad que no era la que decía nuestra reserva. Pagamos la cantidad correcta, pero cuando nos enseñó la habitación, ésta estaba con el suelo lleno de agua, sucia y con sólo una cama pequeña (cuando habíamos solicitado una doble). Volvimos a recepción para exigir un cambio de habitación, ya que no era lo que habíamos contratado, y además estaba sucia. El recepcionista nos dijo que nos debíamos esperar a que limpiaran otra habitación que aún estaba ocupada por los antiguos clientes. Hartos de esperar, y viendo las malas expectativas que nos transmitía este hotel, decidimos que nos devolviera el dinero e ir en busca de otro más confortable y más limpio. El recepcionista no puso ningún impedimento, y con cara de resignación nos dijo "this is a problem hotel", y sin más dilación, nos fuimos de ese lugar tan tróspido.

Kakerlaken Plage
Dieses "Hotel" gehört geschlossen! Wegen dem Preis war ich auf alles vorbereitet: wackelnde Schränke, alter Boden, mangelnde Sauberkeit, sogar etwas Mief. Aber was mich da erwartet hat, habe ich nie im Leben erwartet: Der Boden hat komplett geklebt, das ganze Zimmer hat nach Kanalisation gestunken, wegen dem dreckigen Bad. Und das schlimmste: überall Kakerlaken. Das darf nicht sein in Wien oder in irgendeiner anderen Stadt in Europa. Ekelhaft. Storniert, solange ihr stornieren könnt. Für 10€ mehr gibt es verglichen dazu richtigen Luxus in Wien. Ich habe mich entschieden dort keine einzige Nacht zu verbringen.

I've traveled the world and have seen some bad accommodations, but this was truly scary. The minute I checked in I tried calling Expedia and waited for 45 minutes until I gave up. So, I doubt they will allow this to post. The area is really, really, really scary. Checkin area dirty and smelly, filthy, no English. Hallways under construction, exposed everything, no light in hallway, used phone light to find room. Bad smell everywhere. Shoes were sticking to room floor, room hadn't been cleaned well, exposed electrical wiring, fleas in bed, itching all night, took them with me on the rest of my trip, entire room falling apart and dirty everywhere. Again, I can't imagine Expedia allowing this review. The price was $77, which was criminal.

Disorganizzati.
Sono arrivato alle 21.00 all'hotel. Nessuno alla reception. Dopo 30 minuti si presenta il receptionist e mi dice che l'hotel è al completo. Faccio notare che la prenotazione è prepagata. Mi dicono di non preoccuparmi che mi spostano in un altro hotel di loro proprietà. Passano altri 30 minuti. Mi chiamano un taxi CHE MI SONO DOVUTO PAGARE per spostarmi dalla parte opposta della città (non di mio gradimento). Sono arrivato in camera alle 23.00. Chiedo a hotels.com di restituirmi i 15€ del taxi (di cui ho regolare ricevuto).

Just Awful
The first room we got put in the door handle came off as we opened the door, there was no head on the shower, or working light in the bathroom for that matter. We complained and got put in a different room. The second room was slightly better but still very grotty. The shower would only be either unbearably boiling hot or unbearably freezing cold, with no middle ground, making washing quite a difficult task. The room had drawers with cigarette ash and butts left in, despite there being no smoking signs both in the room and hallway. It seemed that the rooms dont ever get properly cleaned. From the strong smell of smoke seeping into our room at night and also along the hallways during the day it seems that many of the guests were smoking in their rooms. Including marijuana smoke at before 10am when we were checking out. Even if you're on a budget, you can find far better cheap alternatives than this. The staff were not helpful, the rooms were awful and the fellow guests all seemed as if they were permanent residents not people visiting Vienna.

totally will not recommend this hotel, very far from what int he hotel description, room is very dirty, no lock, when we reach the hotel they fixing the room door lock but still they never fix properly, don't feel safe and secure, the location is quite ok can walk to the nearest train station, the toilet is very dirty looks like nver clean for long not comfortable to use, no aircon and no electrifan inside the room, definitely will not recommend, although its quite cheap but still not worth it.
