I am traveling alone and only require a quiet place to sleep that is close to places I want to go. This place meets that criteria. It is an old building but value for my money.

Great location. Building, not so great
The VRBO is located near the Vienna Main Railway Station. It’s in an old building, and has the amenities necessary for a 1-2 night stay. Bed, shower, washing machine and a kitchen. It’s only there for yourself, and you do not share any of the accommodations. The negatives, the wifi keeps falling in and out. The main entrance to the building is very heavy, and feels as if you have to be Thor to open up the main gate. The thing that I found most disturbing is the building itself, nor the hallways have any lighting whatsoever. The apartment does, the building itself doesn’t. I’ve come to the apartment around 9-10 PM, and found myself in complete and utter darkness in the building. So much so that I had to use the light from my mobile phone to light my path to see where I was going, otherwise I’ll be completely lost. There are no lifts to get to the apartment, but the apartment is very near the major sights of the city

Finger Weg!!! One of theWorst experiences ever!!! I stayed in your apartment from August 18th, 2024 to August 19th, 2024. When the owner was handing over the keys, I asked if I could park in front of the entrance side of the street? He said yes and I parked there but received a fine of 36 euros. I contacted teh owner regarding that but no response received. The bed was broken, the room was not cleaned at all and I guess the owner was also drunk. I cleaned the room myself. the only thing good was hot and cold water pressure

Der Vermieter hat uns vergessen und wir mussten drei Stunden auf die Schlüsselübergabe warten. Außerdem war die Wohnung nicht sauber, sodass wir nicht mal in Socken durch die Wohnung gelaufen sind. Auch das Bad war nicht sonderlich einladend.

Wien ist nicht nur "eine" Reise wert...
Wir kommen gerne wieder...auch gerne wieder in diese Wohnung..der Vermieter hat sich um uns bemüht und zwischendurch mal nachgefragt.....Das Apartement liegt sehr zentral...alles bequem zu erreichen...Supermarkt um die Ecke... Das nötigste war in der Wohnung vorhanden... Wir sind pflegeleicht und sehen alles zweckmässig...und sind immer unterwegs... Preis/Leistung ok Die Wochenkarte von Mo bis So für 17,20 € für ganz Wien ein Schnäppchen...

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top, gute Lage
Die Wohnung ist für ein paar Tage gut ausgestattet und entspricht den Bildern. In direkter Nähe gibt es Anbindungen an U-Bahn, S-Bahn und Bus und somit perfekt für einen Städtetrip. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und scheint sicher. Direkt um die Ecke gibt es einen Supermarkt, Bäckereien, Tankstellen und eine Post. Der Ansprechpartner ist vor Ort, hilfsbereit und schnell. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top für diese Stadt. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung ist das einzige, aber große Manko- nicht zu genau hinschauen!

Good price/quality
I liked the neighbourhood, not too fancy; where actual local people live. Good public transport connections, take aways and shops nearby. Room isn't very atmospheric (few different lights could do the trick), but it is what it is and the price reflects that. Would not mind going there again.

Insgesamt ok für kürzeren Aufenthalt: Bett bequem und sehr ruhig im Haus/Straße. Haben gut geschlafen. Deckenlampe im Schlafzimmer bleibt allerdings nach Ausschalten noch hell, was stört. Wie schon von anderen Gästen erwähnt: Zumindest Radio wäre gut, und Leselampen am Bett (am besten auch auf 2. Bettseite Nachtschränkchen). Reinigung dürfte gründlicher sein (auch z. B. Fenster). Ein paar mehr Teelöffel/kleine Teller + Schere wären toll und Deckel zum Mülleimer sowie Kosmetikeimerchen im Bad. Größere Tüte mit Sachen war im Gemüsefach deponiert mit Anweisung, diese dort zu belassen (?). Bei dem kleinen Kühlschrank hätten wir den Platz eigentlich schon gebraucht.... Klobrille zu klein für Toilette, daher unbequem, weil Hin- u. Hergerutsche. Sicherungen in Küche ohne Sicherungskasten. Küche soweit gut ausgestattet, dass man kochen kann. Auch Wasserkocher vorhanden und Kaffeemaschine. Hohe Räume, Blick in baumbewachsenen Innenhof. Check-in war im Schnelldurchlauf, genauere Erklärung, wo z. B. Parkhaus ist, wäre nötig gewesen. Keine Tipps / touristisches Infomaterial zu Cafés/Restaurants im Stadtviertel oder allg. Sehenswürdigkeiten Wien - schade! Man ist schnell in der Innenstadt mit der U-Bahn. Lage prima, um Wien zu erkunden.

Der Vermieter empfing uns betrunken. Sein Weinglas stand noch auf der Spüle in der Behausung. Es gab keine Bettdecken, nur zwei Bettbezüge lagen auf dem Bett. Das Bettlaken war voller Haare und die Matratze fleckig. Wir haben uns unsere eigenen Handtücher untergelegt und in Klamotten geschlafen. Das Bad und das WC war völlig verdreckt. Die Küche einfach nur ekelhaft, der Tisch klebrig und schmutzig, ein keimiger Lappen in der Spüle. Wir haben uns Pappteller und Bambusbesteck gekauft um wenigstens irgendwas essen zu können. Im Kühlschrank befanden sich angebrochene Lebensmittel. Über den Innenhof und das Treppenhaus möchte ich nicht mehr nachdenken. Die Umgebung nicht erwähnenswert. Sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt und möchte das auch nicht mehr. Zwei Nächte haben wir gezwungenermaßen ausgehalten, dann habe ich ein freies Hotelzimmer gefunden und wir sind sofort abgereist. Wir hatten einen wichtigen Termin bei einem Tierarzt in der Nähe von Wien, deshalb sind wir nicht sofort wieder abgereist. Immerhin sind wir extra aus Kiel dafür angereist. Ich kann nur sagen... FINGER WEG!!!

Einfach aber empfehlenswert.
Lage der Wohnung verkehrstechnisch sehr gut, trotzdem absolut ruhig.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sehr nah. Standard könnte verbessert werden. TV und Radio fehlen, gehören heutzutage zu jeder normalen Wohnungsausstattung. Man könnte die Wohnung durch Kleinigkeiten aufwerten, die aber sehr viel bringen. Z.B. bequeme Stühle am Küchentisch, Leselampe am Bett, neue saubere Putzutensilien (gemeint sind Besen und Kehrschaufel),schöneres Porzellan und Besteck und bessere Bettwäsche. Die Fenster gehören geputzt und vor allen Dingen muss der Fußboden gewischt werden. Die Wohnung war nicht gereinigt als wir ankamen. Alles in allem war lieblos gehalten. Wegen der guten ruhigen Lage und wenn die Wohnung geputzt wird möchten wir aber wiederkommen.
