Ideally Located

Hietzing, Vienna’s historic 13th district, is located in the western part of the city. The lovely area is one of Vienna's most affluent neighborhoods, with leafy streets, parks, and easy access to the Vienna Woods for residents. There are cafes and restaurants throughout Hietzing, including historic Café Dommayer, where Johann Strauss played music in the garden. The neighborhood is home to Schönbrunn Palace, the opulent summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty, as well as the Schönbrunn Zoo, where visitors can marvel at more than 50 species of animals. The palace grounds are also home to several large greenhouses, including the Palmenhaus Schönbrunn, which dates back to the 19th century. Hietzing is served by Vienna’s U4 and U6 Metro lines and has its own train station, Wien Speising.
