Pedestrian zone in the city center, spacious and family-friendly apartment

Quiet apartment with morning and afternoon sun. 3 bedrooms or 1 or 2 bedrooms (depending on the number of people) and a living room. One bedroom and the living room look into the pedestrian zone, the other bedroom looks into a courtyard with a large horse chestnut tree.

The pedestrian zone creates a calm, almost village-like atmosphere in the center and keeps the car noise at a distance!

Spacious apartment for couples, also ideal for travel groups or families with children (games and their own information sheet for activities and child-friendly bars are in the apartment, the baby cot and the baby high chair will be prepared for you free of charge after prior registration).

A television (cable reception) with a selection of films (DVD and VHS), family and children's games and the Internet give you the opportunity to spend the evening comfortably at home.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave, kettle, toaster grill, and various coffee machines.

Myrthengasse is the perfect starting point to explore Vienna on foot or by public transport.

Public transport in the immediate vicinity:
2 subway stations, 2 bus stations and 1 tram station (U3, U6, 48A, 13A, 46).

The city center (historic city center), museum district, natural and art history museum as well as opera and castle theater are within easy walking distance.

In the alleys of the Spittelberg, a variety of restaurants and cafés as well as smaller and larger shops await you (alternative shopping mile Neubaugasse, traffic-calmed meeting area Mariahilfer Straße).

A completely renovated park with a modern children's playground protected from dogs is located around the corner of the pedestrian zone Myrthengasse. In the warm season you can sit outside at the edge of the park in the Café / Restaurant China Bar and take care of your children from there.

Theaters (Spittelberg, Volkstheater, Burgtheater, etc.), dance (Tanzquartier and Impulstanz Festival), cabaret and cinemas are numerous in the immediate vicinity, without long journeys by car or public transport.

City maps and information material are available in the apartment for you.

From November to March I can provide you with a parking space in the house for € 7 / night. Please let me know in advance.

If you are unable to meet the specified arrival date, please notify me in advance by email or phone (also with WhatsApp). In case of delay please call, SMS or Whatsapp / Wire message at the earliest possible time.

The prices are for 2 people and small children under 2 years.
Each additional guest will be charged 10-25 € per night for the entire stay, depending on the season.

The tourist tax of approx. 2.5% is not included in the rental price and must be paid in advance or on arrival. You can find more information about this in the folders I sent, which contain a lot of helpful and further information.

Great apartment in a good location
Clean, well equipped apartment in a great,quiet location. The city centre is within walkable distance and there are also good public transport links nearby. The communication with Paul was excellent and he contacted us on arrival and during our stay to see if we needed anything.I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone who wants to stay in Vienna.

Excellent host and location
We had a grand time in Vienna with our stay here. Paul was very responsive when an internet problem arose and, without us even asking, offered a late checkout. The apartment is located only a few blocks from the Spitalgasse Christmas market, and only a little farther from the Museumsquartier. Everything in the downtown historic area is quite walkable.

Great apartment in the city of Vienna. All, or at least a lot, of the major sights are in walking distance. We, a family if four with two teenage daughters, stayed four eight nights. The apartment has three bedrooms if you use the living room as a bedroom. It has plenty of space and is equipped with everything you need ... plates, silver were, pots and pants, coffe maker, microwave, gas oven, hair dryer, dish washer .... The host, Paul, is very attentive even from far away. We had a great time in Vienna and probably would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay; perfect size/amenities for a family
Paul met us directly at the flat. Prior to arriving he was excellent with maintaining communication, especially as we changed our train tickets a week before arrival. The flat is on a great quiet street. However, it is next to a youth hostel. There are tons of places to eat and shop, including countless grocery stores and pharmacies. (The kebab place .3 miles away is a must!) Transit is frequent and easily accessible. The only two things I would note are: towel supplies are very limited; and, there are no blackout curtains so in the summer (or with a baby) it may be difficult to sleep. I will be recommending this place to others when they visit Vienna.

Lovely, cozy apartment with everything you need for a fun stay in Vienna
The quiet pedestrian street leading up to the door gives the first sense that this will feel like a real Viennese home for your stay. The new mattresses will make the sleep much more comfortable. Paul is an attentive host (with a delightful 15 month old son), before arrival ensures that everything is clear, and keeps in touch during your stay. The bathroom, kitchen and toilet have been very nicely renovated and are very comfortable and everything functions well. Be aware that the flat is up two (easy) flights with no lift. The apartment is quiet and comfortable. A great place for a stay in Vienna. We loved the location outside of the first district as it gave us great motivation to walk many more steps than we would have in the Innere Stadt. However, the connection to public transport are absolutely superb, as is now so typical for Vienna.

Lots of Space, cool building, great location
My wife, 18 year old son and 17 year old daughter spent 5 nights in the flat. The location is very convenient to getting around Vienna, either on foot (short walk down to the Museums) or bus, and it appears to be a very nice/safe area. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops and it seems like more of a family part of town. The apartment is very large, with comfortable beds. Our two older daughters could not join us on this trip, but the flat could easily accommodate six close people. The kitchen is tiny, but well stocked, and there are several grocery stores in the area. Paul went above and beyond answering all my questions, and was very pleasant. The reason I only gave it four instead of five stars is the building is hundreds of years old, so it can only be cleaned up so much. We loved the charm of the building, with its wide old staircases (lots of steps, but each only rises about four inches) and architectural features. I just do not want someone to read this review and be disappointed, expecting the Ritz. It is a great value, and I would certainly recommend staying there to all but my most pickiest of friends. I hope to stay there next time I am in Vienna. Thank you Paul for opening up your great flat.
