"The property when you first arrive is absolutely stunning, the landscape everything spoke of high end resort. The room was huge and initiall was stunning. Then you see water spots from like a broken water pipe around the baseboards. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the shower drained very slow. There was no controls for the AC, so the room was always stuffy had to open the windows at night which the mosquitos took as invite to hangout. The main outdoor restaurant was mediocre not...

"The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and very clean. It is a 10 minute walk to the old town and a 5 minute walk to the train station. The neighborhood has cafes and stores, including a supermarket a few paces from the front door. Clean towels every three days, no coffee/kettle in the room, but otherwise perfectly acceptable."

Being on top of the hill has the advantage of best place to see the city below and sunset from the beautiful roof top terrace over the mountains on the other side of the city. "The room and all spaces I passed by were very clean. I liked the idea of not wasting water and not changing towels so often. The spa was amazing. It was a very relaxing stay. The hotel has a luxurious feel, like more than 3 stars. I definitely recommend people to go above all for the spa. It is totally worth it. And have breakfast at the hotel. So many tasty choices. "
