"Room was nice. Towels fluffy. No microwave. Casino ok, but very smoky. Toilet seat top missing and seat misaligned and would not stay vertical. Needs attention. Casino was bonus..otherwise other locations should be investigated. For same price."

"I owned a hotel for many years. Outside was somewhat dated but it was surprisingly nice inside. Smelled good and looked clean. That's hard to do right there on the water. casino staff was nice and attentive. Dated, but that was expected. Front desk staff (Solana I think) was nice and enjoyable."

We were in the area for a funeral. AGAIN, I am a handicapped veteran and found the stairway to the lower parking dangerous.

We were impressed with downtown area. Good places to eat and it felt safe. We didn’t feel comfortable venturing far but we did Uber back to our hotel. It seemed like there was only one Uber driver available

Vicksburg needs help in the Keep America Beautiful department. It has a strong Southern Heritage that needs to be built up. I would recommend tons and tons of azalea bushes on I-20 right down the median, all the way to the Mississippi bridge.
