"to begin with I have to admit I liked the 501 against my better judgement at times but the location and views allows a lot to be forgiven. I can imagine the 501 in its glory days would have been spectacular. the architecture is still on place and quality never goes out of style. however the old girl does look a little tired and could benefit from a little renovation in places. the staff, mainly Italian or course and many locals, can be a little abrupt or disinterested when they are busy...

"The hotel has a great location, just next to the beach which makes is perfect if you're looking for a seaside hotel. Breakfast was a bit dissapointing, only sweats to eat, no bread or eggs or anything like that. But overall we were satisfied with the hotel for the price very ok. Lots of parking available on the road, for free."

"Very comfortable and well located inn with a sweeping view of Mediterranean. Dominic welcomed my children and I after normal check-in hours which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was a nice selection of juices, pastries, and coffee prepared by Dominic. Covered parking was an unexpected plus. "The overall experience was simply amazing. The hosts Simo and Ariana are super friendly, helpful and gave their really best to make our stay as convenient as possible.They have their own pizzeria below the apartments. The taste was typically Italian and fantastic. The rooms are complete new and high standard. We can only recommend B&B Sikuli."

"Diavin is a clean,good-value little hotel/pensione .I had no complaints. However,the ditections given were all wrong! The pensione is in the quiet coastal village of Bivona,which is about 10 km .from Vibo Valentia.I spent almost 3 hours looking for Via Palermo in the wrong town-Vibo is also the district name! Please change address to:ViaPalermo11,Bivona,Vibo Valentia."

Per raggiungere il mare bisogna utilizzare l'auto ma la prima spiaggia è a 5 min. Nelle vicinanze c'è un grande centro commerciale. Proprietaria gentilissima e disponibile. "The hotel is new and the room is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Beautiful and comfortable bed, large bathroom, great location. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. It was limited and the food didn't look fresh at the beginning of the year. Maybe they couldn't get supplies after New Year's Eve. All the rest was great."

"The room was simple but clean, a great home base while enjoying the area. The staff were all very kind and helpful. We had an issue with our toilet seat that was fixed shortly after we reported it. We easily walked everywhere we needed to, but the hotel was set away from the hustle and bustle so that was nice. As expected there was stairs to get to and from the beach so we got a bit of a workout but not so bad that we minded ot a few times a day, at the beach we could rent an umbrella and chairs for tbe day or just enjoy the other part of the beach without. The hotel beakfast was fantastic but we did not take advantage of the other meals available. We would choose this hotel again for the location, great staff, and cleanliness of the hotel. Oh, and the view... amazing! We planned originally for 2 nights at this hotel but ended up adding a 3rd before our trip and a 4th night after we were there a couple days because we enjoyed it so much. We traveled as two adults with a yound child."

"This place is simply incredible! My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and were so impressed with the hotel and incredible views over the Tyrrhenian Sea. The resort was clean and safe, the beds very comfortable and the staff always friendly and helpful. The terrace is absolutely pristine and we felt like we had it all to ourselves at times during our October visit. The historic old town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping is a short 7-8 minute walk away. Check out the Santuario Santa Maria dell'Isola and the beautiful sand beaches surrounding it. Shout out to Selena, Pawel the bartender and all the staff for making this trip such a memorable experience. This place will not dissapoint you and we look forward to coming back to Tropea and staying at Hotel Rocca Della Sena in the near future."
