"The room was clean, the bed was super comfy, and I felt totally safe during my stay. The new owners just took over and are remodeling, so be patient—it’s already shaping up great. They’re so friendly and make you feel right at home. I’ll be staying here weekly, and I’m really glad we found this place!"

"This was the perfect peaceful getaway. Kids enjoyed fishing and paddle boats. We all enjoyed hot tub and out door seating to play games and talk. Hosts thought of everything you would need or want on your trip. We forgot stuff to make s’mores at the fire pit and swings- the hosts had everything even the long forks for marshmallows. We are already planning for our next trip there. Definitely recommend!"

"Everthing was good"

"The rooms have been remodeled & are relatively nice inside. However, the bed was extremely hard—so much so that I bought mattress pad from Walmart to make it through my five-night stay. One plus is that it was very quiet overall. There were no loud parties or disturbances; the guests stayed to themselves, quietly. During the week, construction workers stay there & after work, they hang out in the parking lot until late, but they were low-key & friendly. Also, I bought a fan to muffle sound in case of noise, but didn’t end up needing it for that—it added a bit of comfort & familiarity, like I have at home. Due to flight issues, I didn’t arrive until the day after my scheduled check-in. Fortunately, the staff held my room, which I appreciated. On the day after I checked in, I requested a late check-out because I had to work remotely, & leaving at 11:00 a.m. would have been very disruptive. I offered to pay for an extra night just to stay until 3:00 p.m. The owner/manager initially told me, “We’ll work something out,” & never took payment; I never saw him again! On the last day, the staff began calling & knocking on my door to check out while I was in the middle of a virtual work meeting; frustrating & unprofessional! I realize most professionals wouldn’t choose to stay there, however, I chose to stay here because my employer covered a few nights & I paid for the remaining nights so I could visit friends. While it was affordable, I won’t be staying here again. "

"If you’re looking to get out of the city’s this is the place you should book! It’s a little secluded and the neighbors up the hill are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. My girlfriend and I were looking for something like this and it’s just what we needed to rest and relax! We would and probably will book again!"

"Our HS fishing team stayed for the week. It was very convenient to stay so close to a loading dock. The parking at the house was perfect. Vickie was very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. We will definitely book here again!"
