Bass Lake Cottage!

Our newer 2 bedroom (plus a Loft) cottage is located on a historical 2.5 acre piece of property.
Relax in an open living/ kitchen space along with a large loft area. Fully furnished including WiFi, laundry room, full kitchen, grill, bonfire pit and a fabulous front porch with outdoor seating. Please note there is indoor dining for 4 people only. We have mini splits for heating, electric fireplace and space heaters which keep the cottage fairly warm though it can be cooler during freezing temps.

Quiet get away
The Cottage was comfortable, clean and roomy. The lake was quite quiet when we were there. Nice dock and beach area. I wished I had remembered to bring my water shoes though, because the lake is a little too squishy for my liking. It is a little hard to swim in.

Beautiful cottage in a very peaceful setting and loaded with every amenity you could possibly think of. Nina was wonderful to correspond with. Our family immediately felt right at home and are already planning to return next year.

Beautiful Location and Amazing Hostess!
Our family loved this cottage and we loved the hostess Nina! When I first walked into the house it smelled amazing and the view was beautiful. It was such a great first impression. The beds are comfortable and all the natural light in the cottage makes it a happy space. We reached out to Nina several times and she was always available and accomadating. I highly recommend staying at this cottage!

Relaxing fall weekend!
Although the weather didn't cooperate for us to use the water toys, the covered porch still allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake in the fall! It was a wonderful weekend spent relaxing, cooking & laughing! The host is very responsive & helpful. This cabin is very open & pretty inside - all the colorful touches are awesome! There are games for entertainment, lots of towels, multiple sleeping options, & all the amenities of home - even Kleenex! If you travel as we do, those things are appreciated :-)

First stay in Michigan!
We had a rocky start getting to Michigan. I messaged Nina and let her know that we would check in a day later than expected. She was very sweet and checked on us to be sure that our personal situation got taken care of. When we arrived to the cottage, it was a very quiet and serene spot on the lake. The cottage is very well maintained and adorable. When our stay was coming to an end, Nina messaged us to be sure our first Michigan trip was exceptional and asked us to stay another night at no charge to be sure we were able to do all the things we wanted since our stay was cut short and it rained another day, all things that she had nothing to do with. In no way did she have to do that, but she went above and beyond as a host. I am very grateful to her and her hospitality. We had a wonderful time and would definitely love to stay again!

Awesome place on quiet lake!
Our stay at the cabin on Bass Lake was fantastic. A lot of thought went into building this place and the high end finishes are great! Excellent appliances, 2x AC units, high capacity washer/dryer, everything needed (more than needed) to make for a very comfortable stay. The place itself was super cute and located on a huge lot surrounded by some dense tree lines on either side = lots of privacy and you don’t feel like there are any neighbors. All of the family had a great time swimming in the warm, crystal clear lake, going on the kayaks and fishing. Lots of blue gill to be caught from shore and then bass and pike throughout the lake if you are looking for something larger! Easy access to town for some supplies or pizza and ice cream a quick 4 min drive away. The ice cream place does an awesome job - big portions for the kid size treats! Owners were just a call or text away if needed but really no need to get in touch! My only recommendation and this is really digging deep is a few extra pillows for the beds :) maybe there are some in the closets as well…not sure we opened any! Thanks for the great stay - highly recommend and would love to come back!!

The property was just as the listing described. Very clean inside and out. Had a great time enjoying the beach and catching fish from the dock. Sitting around the fire pit was a great way to end each day.

Cozy cute cabin
We had alot of fun here with lots of swimming and boating. My kids had a blast and the cottage was very comfortable for us all. Very private and spacious beach and yard.

A quaint little cottage
We had a wonderful time on our vacation! We took out the boat and did some fishing. We also tried our luck at the casino. The owners care about their property and about their clients. We felt very welcome.. The Farmer in the Dell ice cream is very good. If you like pizza you should try Main Street. This is a property you don’t want to miss!

Fabulous stay at the bandstand cottage!
My family of five (2 adults and 3 small children) had the best time staying at this cottage. Nina and Jeb were great hosts. The cottage itself had everything we needed to be comfortable, with modern/new everything. Outside the cottage, we enjoyed swimming in Bass Lake, lounging on the private beach, making sand castles, and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. A huge bonus was the great fishing on the lake, which was great for both the kids who caught infinite bluegills off the dock on nearly every cast and myself who caught some big largemouth bass. We can’t wait to go back next summer!
