"Att hitta till hotellet var inte så lätt. Adressen gick inte att få fram vare sig på Google eller GPS. Hotellet ligger mitt ute i bushen. Man måste komma från rätt håll för att se vägskylten( text bara på en sida). Vägen upp till hotellet (700 m) tror man inte varken är körbar eller leder till ett hotell. Vi frågade oss fram ( krävde fyra förfrågningar hos lokalbefolkningen innan vi kom rätt). Telefonnumret till hotellet stämde inte så vi kunde inte heller ringa o fråga om vägen. Väl framme var...

"We stayed at this place for a week and really enjoyed Tuscany. There are a lot nice places to visit near this house, the swimming pool was also very nice! It is great to enjoy a fresh swim in your private pool after visiting one of the nice places around."

"Centrally located , clean and comfortable spot to explore Siena and surrounding Tuscany. Federica was very flexible and accommodating. The property is well maintained. It’s hard to shop there so would have loved some shared coffee to be available . "

It was very comfortable with recent updates and ammenities inside and built in a very cool, old building right in the heart of town. Would 100% recommend and stay there again when we return to Siena! "Excellent hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Executive king room was very nice, shower with good water pressure. Small elevator but worked fine. Easy walk into historic Siena. We traveled by train and directions provided by hotel staff from train station to hotel were spot on. Be aware escalators in shopping mall go on and on! But are efficient in getting you to upper level where road is to hotel. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Great restaurant just down the street called Osteria Rusticamente that has from scratch food and reasonable priced. Lovely husband and wife owned."

Wonderful experience

"This was an awesome experience. To be able to stay in a former monastery that was hundreds of years old was a wonderful addition to our overall trip. While the beds aren't as comfortable as I am use to, the experience was worth the minor discomfort of the beds. The grounds are amazing, the chapel was so exquisite and the staff was wonderful."

"Located at the far end of Siena (15 minutes taxi ride from the train station) on a quiet street with not much pedestrian traffic unlike the rest of the town. It is still close to the main square, cathedral, museums and all other interesting sites. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view to a beautiful little garden below. The breakfast was OK with cheese, pastries, fruit and good coffee. Our only complaint (hence minus one star on facilities) would be non-existent WiFi in the room, it was extremely slow and was losing connection all the time. "

13 century monastery

"The hotel is amazing! This hotel was a monastery built in the 13th century. Major problem, no elevator. The rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Ours was on the 3rd, hauling luggage was not fun. The other annoying part was the included breakfast started at 8am. We had an early train reservation which meant no breakfast for us. When we explained at the front desk, they didn’t offer any solutions. "

Great location Great Breakfast

"We had a great stay at Alma Domus we booked an economy double which was a good size with a very comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was clean and everything worked as it should. The room was serviced daily. The location was great close to a bus terminal and only a short walk to the Duomo and main Piazza and approximately 15/20 minutes walk from the train station (there is a bus too and taxis are available) For the price it is amazing value as the breakfast is fabulous and really sets you up for the day. If we were to return to Siena we would certainly book to stay in the Alma Domus."
