"There has been water damage as evidenced by the smell in the room, the water stains on the ceilings, and wallpaper/shower seam. The room needs a deep cleaning/remodel. The staff were excellent. We booked a 2nd night after our 1st night’s stay even though the room wasn’t $200 value. The morning attendant was very helpful. After Covid, it’s hard to find a good quality motel that is well maintained. Since we like to travel for Bluegrass we accept whatever is available; however, if we don’t speak up, nothing changes."

"We've stayed in quite a few hotels over the years - this by far was our best experience. We are in the WRJ area frequently and now this will always be our go-to hotel. The breakfast was wonderful, the lobby welcoming with fruit and cookies, the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and comfortable. "It was a cute little cabin tucked . We stayed while it was 90+ degrees for a few days in a row and Richard made sure to keep us in the loop to keep the cabin cool. And it surprisingly stayed at a good temperature. The kids had a good time exploring the property."
