beautiful traditional hotel great location. Room Very very dark no main lighting only 2 small bedside lights. subdued lighting in the bathroom unable to shave or put on make up. A light in the wardrobe on a 2 second time switch. Restaurant very very expensive with an unbelievable limited menu.

Elegant Guest House in a great central location
The Guest House is well worth the money as it is very close to all of the sights of Verona. It is clean, well presented and the staff very friendly, professional and want to do everything to ensure you have a good stay. When we asked to move rooms they made it happen without hesitation. When there was a problem with hot water they explained the situation, kept us informed and got it fixed in quick time. They were most apologetic. I doubt anyone would regret staying in this charming, unique, clean and welcoming establishment.

From the moment we arrived to we left our stay was fantastic. As we stayed in February Verona was quiet but the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are luxurious, the breakfast was just perfect and given in a grand room. We loved every moment and did not want to leave! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Lovely city centre hotel
The room was very nice, breakfast was excellent and the location perfect. It is excellent that the contents of the minibar are included in the room rate. The Christmas decorations look absolutely beautiful Areas for improvement: the quality of the television signal was variable as some channels had a lot of pixelation. A suggestion for the future is that the hotel should invest in USB power points in the rooms.

Amazing and Perfect!!
It was absolutely amazing, I felt super pampered, the rooms were beautiful and sooo Italian nice! The staff was great, the breakfast was a dream come true. The location was perfect! We could walk anywhere in Verona and just like 5 minute walk to the main plaza. It was our anniversary trip and staying at that hotel made it extra romantic and everything we wished for. I will go back to Verona and definitely back to the Gentleman of Verona. You won't regret it!!!

From the minute we entered until our departure, a world of elegance surrounded us. The staff proudly gave us a brief tour of the hotel as we were shown to our room - highlighting the special historical and architectural aspects. Even though it was close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside, our beautifully appointed room remained comfortable - not cold, not hot. Regarding food, the bountiful continental breakfast awaited in one of the historic and elegant reception rooms. An inner courtyard with plants and trees offered a unique dining space. The intimate indoor restaurant and bar completed the trio of dining and refreshment opportunities. The entrees we enjoyed were very good. The entire staff was simply superb! They were friendly, courteous, yet very professional. They also patiently answered questions and provided advice with grace and great humor. Service was impeccable! The location is perfect - just minutes from the Arena and other sites, along with great dining and shopping opportunities. A jewel among boutique hotels!

Great Location
Upon check we found our ground level room to be be fairly noisy with foot traffic. We politely asked if we could possibly move to another room and were told sorry hotel was fully booked. The strange thing was our friends who checked in the same time found their room particularly their bathroom to be very dark with only two little pot lights and lighted mirror (very darkly painted walls) this was also another issue we had with our room. They were offered 3 more rooms to look at. If we had been offered an upgrade we would have taken it. Our tv didn't work and when we tried to shower it flooded within mins as it would not drain properly. We summoned our car from valet for a particular time and after waiting more than 20mins beyond that time (no other guests to be seen) finally we were given keys to retrieve the car ourselves. The breakfast was average but service was even less. Saw our server only once for one cup of coffee and never offered another. We stay in many hotels and this one was particularly strange. However, locationwas fabulous, and foot traffic noise died off around midnight. The rooms were very clean as well so great cleaning staff. I guess our expectations were a little higher.

Loved this place. Our only slight quibble with room was that the sofa bed provided for my son was uncomfortable and creaky. Everything else was superb. Room was spotless, facilities well thought out, and breakfast was an absolute treat with a waitress who was unfailingly charming and cheerful, while cooking 3 different types of eggs and providing everything else we needed. She was a star! The hotel was just lovely. If we could ask to change anything, I'd say that the restaurant could have been less fine dining - if more basic family dishes, we would have eaten there too. Bar was lovely though ....,

The hotel is Cosy and pretty decorated.pretty garden . But the air conditioner you can't control in your room . The tv didn't work . If you stay in the precidential suite be sure to bring ear plugs since there is noise from the street all night long. Have to say excellent breakfast. And nice spa.

Fantastic hotel. close to everything
We stayed for 4 nights and had an upgrade to a larger suite. The suite was excellent with a superb bathroom, very comfortable bed and generous amenities. The free mini fridge is a bonus, with soft drinks, water, beer ad snacks replaced daily. We were greeted with a glass of prosecco in the secluded gardens, which was very welcome after our journey. The breakfast is excellent, with a good selection of food and great coffee.
