The apartment is located right on the side of the Abbey of S. Zeno, the most important Romanic church in Verona, and from the windows of the living room you can enjoy the magnificent view of the garden and the church. In ten minute walk along the Adige river, you can reach Castel Vecchio and the Arena, the historic center of the city.
The elegant apartment has fine fornitures, it consists of a double bedroom, a single bedroom with the possibility of 2 beds, and 2 bathrooms complete with shower, sink, toilet and bidet. In one bathroom there is also a washing machine.
The S. Zeno district is full of history, but trendy; in the square there are pizzerias and typical places where you can taste the Veronese gastronomic specialties, and wines from Valpolicella.
You can easily reach by car the Garda Lake in half an hour; and the train station is 20 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by bus (the bus stop is right under the house).

Second stay in this lovely flat
Lovely place to stay, close to the centre but also next to a local piazza with bars and cafes. Clean and lots of kitchen equipment for when we cooked.

Great location which met all our needs and expectations
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this spacious and immaculate apartment. The hosts Ricardo and Federica had provided all the kitchen equipment etc and more than we had expected. They respond swiftly to a problem of our own making. Verona is a wonderful city with amazing architecture and a tranquility which added to our week.

Perfect Location
This is a lovely, spacious apartment situated in a quiet area just a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Verona or you can hop on the number 30 bus just outside the apartment if you don't feel like walking. It has restaurants, bars and a good local supermarket just around the corner. Federica met us at the apartment and let us in early and provided us with an extra set of keys for our friend. It is a gem in just the perfect area. I would definitely go back to this apartment.

We loved this San Zeno apartment!
The apartment was lovely with a large open floor plan. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were large, one with washing machine, hang clothes to dry. Large windows open into the basilica grounds and we could hear the bells rining and nuns singing but not the noise of the piazza on the other side. Bus stop right out of the front goes to the train station and tourist areas. So many fabulous restaurants right on the San Zeno piazza, hop on hop off bus a 5 min walk. River walk is 5 min in the other direction. Conad supermarket is 7 min walk and has everything you could need. We felt safe at all times. 3 of us stayed 6 nights but would have been happy to stay longer. Federica was wonderful. Nothing negative to say at all.

A perfect location and property.
We loved staying in apartment San Zeno. The apartment is in a unique and wonderful location facing the private lawn of the famous San Zeno Basilica. Thus it has a pretty view which is totally private with no passerbys or street noise. Yet the apartment is around the corner from a wonderful piazza which has at least 10 cafés and is filled in the evening with locals and their families. It is a very pleasant 15-minute walk to the Castelvecchio and then on to the Piazza Bra. The apartment itself is quite pretty(charming artwork), very comfortable and very quiet. It is in a small building with only 6 other apartments. We loved it! Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. Best for one couple or a couple with children as the a/c is in central areas and thus if hot, bedrooms cool with the doors open. Also the second bedroom is small. But the windows open and provide excellent ventilation.

Best neighborhood in Verona
We spent 3 weeks in this lovely apartment right next to the grounds of San Zeno church. All windows open up to the beautiful grassy tree filled space next to the church with an unobstructed view of the bell tower. Quiet neighborhood with excellent restaurants and bars and a family filled piazza. This is not a tourist area but a residential one. Beautiful and easy walk to the town center of Verona along the river. Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a washing machine but no dryer. Excellent communication with host Frederic’s.

Great apartment in prime location
A perfect base in the San Zeno area to explore Verona. Only a short walk to town, with all the facilities a guest could need. Federica and Riccardo made check in easy and provided great advice on where to eat in the neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

Truly remarkable
We spent three weeks in this perfectly quiet, beautifully appointed, conveniently located, generously proportioned apartment overlooking the enclosed lawn of San Zeno Basilica. The bus to downtown stopped right in front of the apartment and the bus to the railroad station was just down the street. And walking to downtown was easy, too, passing by food shops, a couple of casual eateries, and enjoying a stroll along the upper embankments of the Adige River. Federica and Riccardo couldn't have been nicer, responding immediately when there were some mechanical problems and making us feel always welcome. Easily accessible by a single story of stairs, the apartment could also be reached via an elevator that was a godsend with all our luggage coming in and out. If we were to have a permanent home in Verona, we would want this to be it!

Perfect place to be in Verona
A big thanks to the owner Fedrica and Riccardo. Check in and check out was very easy going. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is just perfect. Big kitchen with everything you need. Two equal bathrooms and a well working ac. made everything very comfortable. The view to the San Zeno is amazing (and it is for us the most beautiful church) The apartment is perfectly placed with a 10 minutes walk along the Etch to the center. Just around the corner is a wonderful small placa with a lot of bars and restaurants which keeps you perfectly supplied with everything you need for moderate prices.

Our annual summer vacation with our adult son
Beautiful home in an ideal location. The best stay ever and the host went out of her way to be helpful. Kitchen is equipped if you want to cook. Plenty of wine glasses and everything else you could think of for a pleasant meal. The pictures do not do the unit justice, it is beautifully furnished with large windows in every room that open onto the grounds of the Basilica. You hear the bells and a little bit of the choir on Sunday. Such a lovely experience. Our friends and family from Verona will now recommend this to all their visitors! Ten or fifteen minute walk to central but a social area with local restaurants is two doors down.Thank you Federica for everything.

My adventure in Verona...
Last summer, I decided to have an extended stay/vacation in Verona - for 7 weeks, after which I was going to a destination wedding in Selve, Val Gardena. I knew very little about Verona...other than I wanted to stay there for the ease of train transportation AND it is just the right size city to explore...visitor turn 'guide' with friends and family. etc. This ALL worked perfectly. I started exploring - not knowing the neighborhoods. As it turns out, I was drawn to the San Zeno area - largely because of the excellent reviews of this apartment. And, it was everything I wanted...easy walk into Citta Antica, the arena...etc., etc. I especially loved getting to 'know' my neighbors, particularly in the Piazza—lots of local restaurants and caffes. The owners are lovely and helpful! Got to interact with some of the people in 'my' building.' A bus stop is very close...20/25 minute walk to the train station...etc. I am returning next year...and have reserved already!!

Un très bel appartement, bien situé, décoré avec goût. A côté de la basilique san Zeno, la vue et le cadre sont magnifiques! Restaurants, glaciers et supérette sont à côté à pied. Le centre n'est pas loin. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille !

Très belle et charmante résidence et appartement, exactement comme sur les photos. Très propre, fonctionnel, spacieux et, vu exceptionnelle devant la basilique et, sans vis à vis. Appartement calme et silencieux. Possibilité de place de parking pour un tout petit supplément. A proximité de toutes commodités (restaurants, alimentations, banque, gelato, bus...) et, à 10 mn du centre ville, 15mn des arènes. Un grand merci aux propriétaires, Fédérica e Riccardo, qui ont été chaleureux, serviable et, nous ont très bien accueilli. Un grand Merci à vous 2. Fantastico appartamento in centro a Verona, proprio attaccato alla chiesa di S. Zeno, in un quartiere tranquillo e familiare, vicino a piazza Corrubio dove si trovano gelaterie e pizzerie con un ambiente meraviglioso per prendere l'aperitivo o cenare. L'appartamento è spazioso, arredato con buon gusto e dove troverete tutto ciò che può servire in un soggiorno in città (lavastoviglie, asciugacapelli, lavatrice, aria condizionata...). Per di più, Federica, la proprietaria, è stata molto gentile e disponibile con noi. Di sicuro sceglieremo questo appartamento nella nostra prossima visita

Schöne Wohnung in toller Umgebung
Wir haben uns im der geschmackvoll und mit Liebe eingerichteten Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man benötigt. Der Blick aus den Fenstern über den Garten auf die Kirche San Zeno ist einfach toll. Der Stadtteil ist nicht so überlaufen wie die Innenstadt, hat aber mehrere wirklich gute Restaurants, Cafe's und Bars direkt um die Ecke. 4 Buslinien ins Zentrum und zum Bahnhof finden Sie vor dem Haus oder ein paar Schritte entfernt. (Tikets am besten über die Veronabus App) Zu Fuss ist man ebenfalls in rund 15 Min in der Innenstadt. Die Vermieter Federica und Riccardo waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung, und in der Umgebung in SanZeno sehr wohl gefühlt und können beides gerne weiterempfehlen.

Geräumige Ferienwohnung in günstiger Lage zur Innenstadt
Sehr schön eingeeichtete Ferienwohnung in ruhiger aber zentraler Lage. Die Altstadt und der Bahnhof sind gut fußläufig erreichbar. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und etliche Bars und Restaurants. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war unkompliziert und flexibel.

Wundervolle Herbstage in Verona
Als Familie mit 2 Teenagern hatten wir vor Ort bei San Zeno alles,was man für eine Verona Urlaubswoche braucht:Piazza um die Ecke,um mitten unter Einheimischen zu essen oder nur auf einen Aperol/Kaffee, 15min an der Etsch ins Centro o.zum Bahnhof.Die Wohnung liegt daher ideal und ist tip top sauber,herrlicher Blick auf San Zeno,und sehr nette Vermieter-eine rundum wundervolle Woche!vielen Dank!

Perfect apartment in Verona
The 1st floor (2nd floor in American terms) apartment is next to San Zeno Maggiore.... in fact, you're staring right at the church from the large windows. It's a very peaceful setting. Central Verona is a 15 minute walk. The apartment was immaculately clean and perfectly equipped, especially the kitchen. The wifi is strong; I had 4 devices connected with no issues. Very safe, easy, and nearby parking was provided by the owner however I'm not sure it's always available. The owner is extremely nice and responsive (so responsive that she instantly came to the apartment one morning when I stupidly locked myself out). Highly recommended!!!

Marvellous property
Beautiful, stylish apartment in a lovely area of Verona. Close enough to walk to the opera and with a vibrant square, with lot’s of bars and restaurants, nearby (But not too close). We felt quite privileged to have stayed.
