Secluded gem of a property with great pool!
Never write reviews but felt compelled to leave one here. The pictures don’t do this listing justice, the house was larger than we imagined much to our delight. The outside areas are massive and completely secluded, the pool is bigger than the picture suggests and was a big hit with kids and adults alike. Internally the house is beautifully furnished but really practical and functional. Would happily come back again. As others have said you ideally need a car (which we had) as it is remote, which is what we were after.

Perfect rural retreat
Perfect location being peaceful but within easy reach of town with all required amenities. House beautiful home from home with all that you need. Furnished to an exceptional standard. Grounds and pool the icing on the cake. Host and local property manager super helpful.

Beautiful Rural Retreat
Lovely restored farmhouse building - well set up and essentially is a home from home. Bedrooms all very comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Maybe the pool area could do with a little TLC but all enjoyed our time around the pool in the hot weather. Support from owner and local contact were very good whilst at the property to sort out any issues/questions we had. House is in a rural location but only a short 10 minute drive to the town of Loches which is fantastic.

A week at Les Arcis
If you want to get away from it all in rural France, this is definitely the place! Beautifully secluded and off the beaten track, yet close enough to all the amenities you could possibly need in the nearby town of Loches. We loved the stylish furnishings and luxe finishes to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds in particular were the most comfortable we've slept in outside of our own homes. We so appreciated the many thoughtful extras provided, like kitchen roll and dishwasher tablets - along with a very useful 'welcome basket' - thank you! We made good use of the pool although the weather was changeable during our stay - it was still fun to swim in the rain!

Muy bien, visitas, comidas, piscina, la casa estaba muy bien acondicionada. Buscamos una cosa parecida y la encontramos. En medio del campo, tranquilidad absoluta, pudimos hacer todo el programa que nos habíamos propuesto. El propietario la tiene muy equipada y con mucho gusto.

Des vacances au-delà des espérances
Nous avons passé de super vacances( 4 adultes et 2 enfants) et nous avons vraiment apprécié ! Le proprétaire m'avait offert un cadeau pour mes 65 ans. Une guirlande et un panier rempli de friandises. Un acceuil chaleureux. Aussi un grand merci a Karen et sa fille pour leurs efforts. La maison est spacieuse et équipée de tout le confort. Tous les appareils fonctionnent comme ils le devraient. La grande cuisinière et le trés grand four permettent une cuisson extensive et pour un grand nombres de personnes. Le jardin est grand et bien entretenu. La terrasse est bien éclairéé et permet de profiter jusqu'à tard en soiree.La piscine est propre et bien entretenu.Nous en avons pleinement profité. Il ya une bonne boulangerie à 2 minutes en voiture. Trés facile pour le petit déjeuner. Un petit bémol, le nettoyage pourrait être un peut mieux. Certes pas mal, mais les petits coins.. Peut-être sommes-nous trés exigeants dans ce domaine. En conclusion, nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances et si cela correspond à notre futur agenda de voyage, nous y retournerons certainement. Klein paradijs
We verbleven in Les Arcis in augustus 2023. Het huisje is perfect uitgerust en ingericht. Heel smaakvol! Je komt tussen de velden helemaal tot rust aan het mooie zwembad. Dit is ook heel goed onderhouden! In het dorpje zelf is er niets te doen, ook Loches is buiten de marktdagen redelijk stil. Voor wat meer leven dien je toch snel een 40 minuutjes te rijden. Amboise, Chatelleraux en Tours zijn zeer mooi. Voor ons was dit geen enkel probleem, zo konden we genieten van de mooie landschappen en de wilde vogels, reeën, .... We zouden zeker terugkomen naar deze zeer verzorgde plek!

Super maison spacieuse et pleine de charme, confortable et bien équipée, propreté correcte mais améliorable, manque de lumière extérieure pour les repas du soir, extracteurs d'humidité dans les salles de bain bruyants, bâche de piscine difficile à manœuvrer, prévoir un transat par adultes (8), espace non clos pour les jeunes enfants (portail rural manquant)

Début chaotique
Nous avons passé au final un excellent séjour après un début chaotique . Le propriétaire est très disponible malgré la distance .Maison superbe et bien aménagée. La propreté des lieux ? Une des chambres n’était pas nettoyer . Les extérieurs pas disponible la piscine sale et les abords très vieux . Au fil de la semaine tout a été changé nouveau lits de piscine et nettoyage de celle ci Au final tout est en ordre pour les prochain locataires.
