"The comfort rooms are very lovely. I stayed a night in the upstairs option and then moved to a larger room downstairs with the outside space. The terrace was the perfect private spot to sunbathe and relax before dinner. The bathroom was very big and the tub was amazing. The property was so beautiful. Great dinner and wine tasting on the property. It really had it all! "

"Pleasant hotel and very good position for getting on/off motorway en route south. Comfortable room and comfy beds! No aircon and room very hot ...it was 33° outside. Had to open window which meant lots of flying things came in! Nice to get a kettle in the room.....a definite plus when in France. Most hotels do not offer this. Only gripe is paper cups...our drinks , both hot and cold began to seep through the bottom of them! Please use proper mugs! Good breakfast although basic!"

"Surprisingly, no lift but reception was prompt to switch our arthritic selves to ground floor. Bar had excellent, reasonably-priced local wines (Beaujolais Villages) & on-site restaurant had Canette des Dombes."

"Unfortunately the specifically booked (and confirmed via telephone) twin access room wasn’t set up for our visit (perhaps too short notice). The staff found a good solution and were helpful. The restaurant was overbooked, stressed staff, no knives to eat with, slow service, salad was unwashed … not great. "
