"we were there for almost three weeks and really enjoyed it. The owner is very friendly and happy to help with any questions. However, you should know that the nearest shops can only be reached by car, since the house is very quiet and secluded. you also have to drive to go out in the evening. But we really enjoyed the rest, everything was fine for us!"

"This is an excellent holiday property. You climb up to it via hairpin bends so take your time and just let the locals pass you in thier Fiat Pandas. The house is a few hunded metres out of village and such a tranquil spot. I almost dont want to give a god review to stop this place becoming to booked up for my next visit but that would be selfish. On the first morning when you throw open the french doors and sit and take in the views you will know you made the right choice. The hosts pop along...

"The property was clean and well equipped the pool was large and very clean. Communication was excellent throughout our stay. Weather was against us as the area is quite mountainous and therefore subject o fluctuations. Car is essential. Small town nearby has everything required. Restaurant within walking distance down a steep winding road but unfortunately was closed for the majority of our stay. "

"This is a beautiful house with the most spectacular view down the valley! Kids and adults loved the pool, either jumping in repeatedly or relaxing on the sun loungers. The house itself is huge, well equipped and a cool escape when the temperature rose. The location of the house is on a road but that didn’t bother us. We had a hire car which we felt was essential ( although there was a small bus that regularly went past the house) it was a short drive to the nearest village (you can’t walk...

"We rented all three houses for 12 people, which worked very well. The grounds and the area are typically Tuscan, very charming and beautiful. The propertymanager is very helpful and available. The poolarea is particularly nice and the teenagers spent all day there :-) Nearby you’ll find Lucca, winetasting, hiking and many other activities. Highly recommendable."

"Unbelievably stunning setting. You will need to be a confident driver to manage the roads up to the house as the roads are steep and winding as you would expect in Tuscany. The smell of Jasmine and the natural peaceful surrounding beauty is amazing. We used the pool everyday and enjoyed a bbq too. We loved the little lizards, flamboyant butterflies and stargazing at night. There is a great cafe about 29 minutes walking up the hill with a lovely atmosphere and a small local shop to get essentials...

"The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious and we never tired of the superlative views across the valley. Diego and his dad are lovely and always available when needed. If I was to suggest an improvement, it would be a little more kitchen equipment - there was no sharp knife for cooking, no collander, few wine glasses and an oven tray that didn’t fit the oven. A small point that did not detract from a great week in a stand out property. Highly recommended!"
