Completed in 2012, Varendar Mar is a development of outstanding build quality set in well-maintained grounds a peaceful location. This property is one of ten south-facing penthouses on this development. Set on the third floor, the property has two bedrooms (one en-suite double and one twin); a family bathroom; a large kitchen and open dining/sitting area. At the end of the sitting area are French Windows which open up to reveal sea and mountain views including towards Bedar, the Mojaca basin and Mojaca itself. Another lovely stay
Well equipped penthouse in great urbanisation. It was our third monthly stay here and please to find the gardens and pool had been well looked after during the pandemic. The lift broke during our stay but it was mended within two hours on a Saturday afternoon, Very good service, Adam the owner is a delight to deal with and extremely helpful.

Short but Sweet
By the time we arrived at the property the Spanish lock down had already begun but Anita was still willing to come out, clean the place and meet us. We had planned to stay for 3 weeks but unfortunately after a few days the local authorities closed all short term accommodation and we had to leave. Which was a shame as the place was perfect for us. We know the area well having spent the previous winter nearby. The apartment is comfortable and well equiped with TV and internet. The view from the balcony is fantastic and a lake is only a short walk away which is great if you like bird watching. There is also a Consum supermarket nearby which would have been very useful in the circumstances. Parking is off road and undercover and the coast is a short bike ride away where there are several beach bars and cafes. Despite having to leave at short notice, the owner did not hesitate in giving us a refund. Adam is a true gent. We hope to stay again at some point in the future.

Wonderful two bedroom/two bathroom apartment, a home from home
My husband and I have spent the past five and a half months in this fabulous apartment. The apartment is fully equiped with everything you would have at home, including wifi and freeview TV. The apartment is based on a secure urbanisation, with two outdoor pools, heated indoor pool, padel tennis court and has amazing views along the coast and mountains. The urbanisation is a 20min stroll to beaches, bars, restaurants, supermarket and new shopping centre. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Sitio tranquilo con piscina y a unos 3km de la playa
Experiencia positiva. Hemos hecho uso de la piscina. El apartamento tiene todo lo necesario: dos habitaciones (1 cama de matrimonio, otra con dos camas), 2 baños (uno con ducha y otro con bañera), cocina equipada con todo lo necesario. Y salon con una terraza bastante espaciosa.

Außenpool in Reparatur und nicht nutzbar, Innenpool nicht beheizt und teilweise gesperrt
Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht, leider kein Windschutz/ Sichtschutz auf dem Balkon, nichts für Personen ohne Auto- Anlage liegt auf einem Berg da wird das einkaufen ohne Auto zur Tagesaufgabe. Teilweise wurde unangekündigt das Wasser abgestellt und die Gärtner waren auch bei Sturm mit entsetzlich lauten Laubbläsern unterwegs. Stundenlang. Man muss wissen das fast immer Wind ist und sehr viel Staub in der Luft ist- teilweise ist die Luft so grau das man denkt es ist Nebel und dem entsprechenden muss man oft staubwischen- Fußböden und Möbel. Im Januar und Februar ist keine Gastronomie erreichbar ohne Auto- alles im Umkreis ist geschlossen. Ab März geht es wieder langsam los. Es wird in der Anlage überwiegend spanische gesprochen- englisch wenig und deutsch gar nicht. Bei Problemen ist die Vermieterin gut zu erreichen und hilft freundlich. In der Wohnung sind diverse Schränken nicht nutzbar da in ihnen Boxen stehen mit den Sachen der Eigentümerin- privado- steht da drauf- ebenso stehen Boxen unter den Betten- alles private Dinge der Vermieter… die Sitzmöbel im Wohnzimmer- ein Sofa- ist ziemlich durchgesessen also zu zweit kein Vergnügen. Ein separater weicher Stuhl währe schön.

La urbanización está muy bien. No está lejos de la playa ni de la zona de compra. Lo peor el estado en el que encontré la cocina. Todos los utensilios de cocina estaban terriblemente sucios, incluyendo vitrocerámica, horno y campana, lo que provocó que los planes de cocinar en casa se esfumaran, y nos obligó a comer y cenar fuera.

Es la segunda vez que vamos y volveremos año tras año, pues estamos de maravilla, la ubicación del apartamento es buenísima , la ubicación igual , el apartamento tiene todas necesidades que necesitas , pero si tengo que destacar algo es la maravillosa atención de adam y anita, son súper amables y majjisimos , cualquier cosa ellos te lo resuelven , lo dicho , ya encontré mi lugar para veranear !!! El apartamento está bien equipado. La cocina tiene de todo excepto lavavajillas, tiene aire acondicionado en el salón y en las dos habitaciones y el hecho de tener dos baños hace que sea bastante cómodo. Tiene plaza de aparcamiento y ascensor que se agradece para subir el equipaje o la compra del supermercado. Está a unos cinco minutos de la playa en coche y muy cerca del supermercado Consum. La comunicación con Dave y Anita para la entrega de llaves fue muy buena. Es un apartamento recomendable.
