Ellisa - Jolie Maison proche de la mer

We propose to you to the rent, on the commune of Ver-sur-Mer, this charming house of lime pit foot entirely renovated to less than one kilometer of the beach, of a surface of 85 m ² and being able to accomodate until 6 travellers. It is composed of a nice living room of 30 m², an equipped kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms, a shower room and you can enjoy a garden of about 600 m² with terrace. We are waiting for you!

The house on one level is composed as follows:

Day space:
- A beautiful and bright living room with two sofas, a TV, a fireplace (decorative) and a dining area.
- An open kitchen equipped with: central island, electric kettle, toaster, microwave oven, oven, hotplates, dishwasher, Senseo coffee maker...
- A laundry room in the basement.

Night space :
- Jungle room : a queen-size bed (160×2000).
- Travel room: a double bed (140×190).
- Romantic Bohemian room: a queen-size bed (160×200).
- A bathroom with Italian shower.
- Separate toilet.

For even more comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: high chair, washing machine, baby bed, iron and ironing board and a barbecue.

By booking this house, you will be able to enjoy the following facilities during your stay:
- A beautiful enclosed garden of 600 m² with fruit trees and a terrace of 20 m² facing South with furniture to enjoy the beautiful days.
- Parking in front of the house.

The house is ideally located in Ver-sur-Mer, in a very pleasant environment. You will be able to benefit from the proximity of essential shops : supermarket, bar-tobacco, bakery, restaurant.

Between sea and land, the seaside resort offers you a multitude of activities: discovery of the various D-Day beaches, a great number of walks or bike rides along the coast and inland, tennis, horseback riding, sailing club in summer, children's playground, visit of the cities of Caen and Bayeux...

If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in front of the house.

Hyggelig, lukket have, hvor vi frit kunne lade hunden løbe. Hunden var velkommen på de restauranter, vi besøgte, men måtte mærkeligt nok ikke medtages på nindesmærket for de amerikanske faldne og på Ponte du Roc. Huset ligger i kort køreafstand fra alle de kendte mindesmærker. Derudover kan man med fordel køre lidt rundt i baglandet, hvor mindre kendte mindemærker dukker op. Vi fik både før og under opholdet en fantastisk service af udlejningsfirmaet."

Ellisa "Das Haus war nicht sauber und es fühlte sich an vielen Stellen eklig an. Wir haben uns unmittelbar nach dessen Feststellung bei COCOONR / BOOK&PAY mit unseren Problemen gemeldet. Die Putzfrau kam dann auch zeitnah. Sie reinigte das Gröbste, ansonsten hätte sie noch deutlich länger arbeiten müssen, denn eine Generalreinigung wäre angezeigt gewesen. Das Haus war sehr kalt, da auch hier der Sommer noch nicht angekommen war. Wir wollten, dass man die Heizung einschaltet, was aber nicht geschehen ist. Wir baten um eine alternative Behausung, um der Kälte und dem Schmutz zu entfliehen. Darauf wurde aber nicht eingegangen. Stattdessen boten sie uns an, die Reklamationssstelle zu kontaktieren, was wir auch taten. Leider war der dokumentierte Aufwand samt Fotos erfolglos. Schade."

L'arrivée flexible avec la boîte à clefs a été un plus appréciable. Le logement se situe dans un très joli village et dans un quartier extrêmement paisible puisque sans circulation (cul-de-sac). L'accès au bord de mer à env 1km à pieds fut l'occasion de jolies promenades dans la campagne Normande verdoyante. Ce fut un excellent séjour !"

Ellisa We had a great stay at the house. It's a bit smaller than the photos make it look but very comfortable for three adults. The local bakery is great and the beach is about a half-hour walk or five-minute drive away. Would definitely recommend!

Absolute Katastrophe
Das Haus ist eigentlich ganz schön, wurde aber offensichtlich schon sehr lange nicht mehr geputzt. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles inklusive der Betten und der Toilette so schmutzig, dass wir uns fast übergeben hätten. Auf unsere Beschwerde hin, kamen 4 Frauen, die 15 Minuten ohne Putzmittel ein paar Möbel abgewischt haben. Das Haus war danach im gleichen Zustand wie vorher und für die stinkende gelb-fleckige Bettwäsche gab es keinen Ersatz. Da die Agentur nicht bereit war, den Mietvertrag aufzulösen, haben wir uns bei IKEA komplett neues Bettzeug gekauft sowie Putzmittel im Supermarkt. Die Agentur hat unsere Reklamation erst nach Abreise bearbeitet und 65 € Erstattung angeboten. Eine absolute Unverschämtheit! Wir hatten uns auf ein schönes, komfortables Ferienhaus gefreut, in dem wir es uns gemütlich machen können. Stattdessen haben wir den ersten Urlaubstag mit Putzen verbracht und sind dann täglich nach draußen geflüchtet, um so wenig Zeit wie möglich in dieser staubigen, modrigen Hütte verbringen zu müssen. Ein absoluter Reinfall. Klare Nicht-Empfehlung!

Kleines Haus in guter Lage
Wir waren knapp zwei Wochen in dem Haus in Ver-sur-Mer. Der Ort selbst liegt am Meer und an den Stränden des Ortes sind auch Hunde erlaubt. Das Haus selber ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet, könnte allerdings etwas gepflegter sein. Die sehr alte und nicht sehr saubere Toilette liegt in der Mitte des Hauses und die Lüftung hat zumindest bei uns nicht funktioniert. Der Abfluss im Bad riecht sehr unangenehm. Auch der Garten könnte etwas Pflege vertragen. Aber alles in allem wars ok und wir hatten dort eine gute Zeit.

Ellisa Das Haus liegt in einer Sackgasse in Ver-sur-Mer, Parkplatz ist kein Problem, freundliche Nachbarn und der Garten ist auch für Haustiere gut geeignet (wir hatten eine Katze, die rausdurfte). Schöne Terasse, Inneneinrichtung wie beschrieben. Zum Strand waren es fünf Autominuten, die Bäckerei fußläufig, so dass man morgens schnell frische Croissants hatte. Von dort aus kam man schnell zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, die sich vor allem rund um den D-Day drehen, weil der Ort direkt and Landungsstränden der Alliierten im zweiten Weltkrieg liegt. Die Franzosen selber übrigens sehr nett, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ellisa "The little house offered all that we needed. The facilities were fine with all you need and a plentiful supply of hot water. The area is a quiet little rural village with a bakery (only open once in the 6 days we were there) a little village shop which had most supplies (but expensive) and a tabac which seemed very popular with the locals although we did not try it. Recycling was also a challenge and if it was not for the delightful young lady in the tourist information office we would never have found were to recycle our glass bottles (had one or two of them!). it is about a mile away in a car park which you cannot see from the road. Given we were only there for 6 days we did not want to buy loads of supplies like washing up liquid, toilet roll etc and sadly the amount supplied was poor. So you may need to consider some extras. Only main gripe is the need to pay extra for the bed linen and towels which quite frankly was just greedy. But overall great stay."

Ellisa "Het huisje is goed geleden, in een rustige buurt op wandelafstand van het strand. Goede uitvalsbasis om Normandië te bezoeken. Huisdier vriendelijk door de volledig afgezette tuin. De inrichting is heel gezellig met een ruime zithoek en grote eettafel, goed voorziene keuken. De minpunten zijn de toch wel heel kleine tweepersoonsbedden (140x190 cm), maar dit was vooraf aangegeven in de advertentie. De matrassen zijn ook verouderd en niet meer comfortabel, de veringen zijn goed te voelen. De communicatie verloopt niet rechtstreeks met de eigenaar, maar via een agentschap die als tussenpersoon fungeert. Het systeem van het warm water was hen niet duidelijk, waardoor wij ook pas op de voorlaatste dag wisten hoe dit in zijn werk ging. Blijkbaar werkt het warm water met een ballon systeem (tank) dat zich enkel s’nachts terug opwarmt. Voor een groep van 6 volwassen die wilt kunnen douchen was dit nipt. Het in- en uit checken verliep vlot, met een sleutelbakje en code."
