"We were the only guests at the chateau. The property is beautiful and the owner very hospitable and welcoming. There are 4 peacocks that roam the chateau grounds which are beautiful. In the morning the owner presented us with a gorgeous breakfast in his chateau dining room which was very elegant. All considered, we would love to stay at Chateau de Chantore again. 5 stars."

The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"
