Built in 1930, this darling home is situated in The Avenue, an artsy community located within a mile of the beach. Enjoy close access to the Ventura River Trail as well as the downtown area, boasting tasty eateries, local shops, and cinemas.
After a fun-filled day in the sun, relax on the plush sectional in front of the gas fireplace. Stream your favorite shows and movies on the 55" flat-screen TV with Roku. Feel right at home in the beautifully updated kitchen, outfitted with brand-new stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, and all the kitchenware needed. Craft a cocktail while preparing a sumptuous dinner. Enjoy meals together at the wood dining table.
This home has three bedrooms that sleep up to six guests and two full bathrooms. The primary bedroom includes a queen bed, walk-in closet, and a shared en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen bed and direct access to the deck via French doors. Freshen up in the second bathroom with a tub/shower combination. All bedrooms offer gorgeous views of Ventura.

The Westside of Ventura, also known as The Avenue, is a vibrant artistic community with a rich history. Stroll nearby Ventura Avenue to visit unique galleries and sample authentic Mexican food. Check out the Ventura River Trail, offering access to the ocean and downtown. For a day in the California sun, walk less than a mile to Surfer's Point at Seaside Park. Relax on the soft sands, go for a swim, or learn how to surf. Walk 10 minutes and find yourself in downtown Ventura. Search for unique vintage clothing, eat local food, and explore the city. In the evening, catch a movie at the Century 10 Downtown. Cruise five minutes to the Ventura Botanical Gardens and go on a guided tour to learn about over 100 species of plants. Enjoy an afternoon at nearby San Buenaventura Mission, a historic Spanish mission church dating back to the 1700s. The site is a 6-minute walk from home.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
A remodeling project is currently in progress for the home next door. The exterior construction is nearing completion and interior work is to be completed in the coming months. Some construction noise may be heard during the daytime hours. We do not have control over the construction timeline.
There is another home adjacent to this rental (on the same lot) that may be occupied during your stay.
The City of Ventura regulations require a 7-night minimum stay at all vacation rentals during the period beginning on the second Friday in June and ending with the last Friday in August.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
