"El Jardin Secreto is set in lovely gardens and is perfect for a party of up to eight people. The pool area has plenty of sun loungers and the tiki bar with BBQ is perfect for evening drinks and eats. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay although the walk back from Nerja is uphill and may not be suitable for elderly or disabled guests. Taxis are cheap and available from the taxi ranks in Nerja as an alternative. The hosts were very helpful and easy to contact if needed. Highly recommend this villa!"

"A really beautiful house with everything you need. As a family of four, the house was very spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Kitchen had all the appliances you could need. "Had a great stay, swimming pool, local restaurants and supermarket all very good. A small map should be provided as the property is nowhere near 79 or 81, it is actually next to 65/66! The damaged step and missing tiles should be replaced and all the building materials removed from thecterrace."

"This is a lovely large Villa which was perfect for us as we were 3 families holidaying together. Plenty of outdoor space and the shared pool (although we were the only ones in it) was well kept and a good size for swimming and diving. It's a 10 min walk down a steep hill to the town. We are older and were stunned to find around 34 steep steps, which we had to carry two 23 kilo bags down.On entering the house there was no power or light. "We could not have asked for a single thing to have been better. If you stay at this property, you will have the best time. "We are a family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 4 years old) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. It is spacious and very clean. Although rustic this house is very well equipped with everything you could need. The air conditioning in the bedrooms is excellent and welcome on hot evenings. "Spacious villa in elevated location, stunning views to sea and great sunsets. Fully equipped both inside and out, huge pool. Plenty of room for our 2 families with 4 teenage children. Bus connections to nearby towns of Nerja and Frigiliani (very picturesque). Would very much recommend."

"We just had a fab holiday in Villa Cecilia…Perfect pool, perfect house. The villa is up a mountain with the last three minutes…not for the faint hearted. Really peaceful, as has no phone signal. WiFi signal at Villa is decent, but did blip, twice for a prolonged time. Thanks for a lovely holiday! "

"Only notes I have concern food. If you are having a themed dinner, include the side dishes. They served Fajitas , but no tortillas. Curry dishes, but no samosas Indian bread or white rice. In general everything was great. Great basic value and beautiful views. Friendly staff. "

"Nice big room with confortable king size bed, nice balcony with table and chairs overlooking the pool. Bathroom is outdated, needs new shower sliding doors. No shampoo or body soap for the shower, instead a watered down hand soap of the same kind used for the sink. All your shower toiletries had to be put on the shower floor, need a shower basket. Optional breakfast buffet was reasonably priced.Bacon,eggs, hashbrowns and other items that should be kept hot were always cold. Good selection of coffees, teas, breads and spreads. Fruits and juices not of the "

Hotel Palacio Santa Ines-Great place to be at

"Hotel is in great location for walk to Alhambra, near hop on hop off bus and has so many shops, restaurants, Traditional tapas bars, cafes and places of interest within short walking distance. Hotel is a lovely old renovation that has so many quirky, traditional furniture in. All well maintained, very clean with comfortable and crisp bedding. You even have tea/coffee facilities in the room. "
