Stylish Duplex with Stunning Private Courtyard in Dorsoduro

The house is on two levels with an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor. This opens onto a private courtyard which can be used for al fresco dining, maybe a glass of Prosecco before dinner or just enjoying Venice outdoors. There are two matching sofas in the lounge area, one of which converts into a double sofa bed. There is a separate bathroom with wash basin and WC.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with double bed, the other with twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower, bidet and WC. The house has been renovated recently with attractive cherry wood flooring. All of the beds, sofas, garden furniture and kitchen equipment are brand new.
The house is located in picturesque Dorsoduro, just off the Campo Santa Margherita. It is an easy 5 minute walk to Piazzale Roma and the railway station. Despite experiencing more of the 'real Venice', access to the main tourist attractions, such as San Marco, is easy and fast, giving the best of both worlds


There is a flat screen TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs available. Please feel free to bring your own DVDs if you want to watch these at the house. Similarly, there is a CD player and radio for your use. The house has it's own WiFi connection.

Great place to stay!
The vrbo was clean and nice ! It’s in a great location and seemed very safe. Was not hard to get from a private water taxi. The trash takeout was a little confusing and it didn’t have a dryer. Other than that it was awesome ! I would stay again without a doubt.

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and supermarket. Short walk to Campo Santa Margherita, a great square. Short walk to Piazzalo Roma and the train station.

The apartment was located in a quite neghborhood. The back patio was beautiful. We explored the area. Great shops and resturants. Grocery store was close. Loved the daily adventures in the city. Close to transportation. Would highly recommend staying there. Stay out of the crowds.

Had I been told earlier, to bring a can of mosquito spray would have been appreciated, other than that the accommodation was close to Water Taxis and walking distance to many restaurants & shops. My daughter had 12 mosquito stings.

Fantastic apartment and terrace
The location was peaceful and yet close to the beautiful Campo Santa Margarita and not far from Piazzale Roma. Very nice bedrooms and a well equipped Kitchen.

The location qas close to everything. The AC was very appreciated and functioning very well which was great given the very hot weather. We really enjoyed the terrace outside. The neighborhood was very quiete. We liked our stay.

Great location and outdoor space is great.
The duplex was clean and the beds were comfortable. Check in was easy, and they let us drop off bags since we arrived earlier in the day. The location was quiet, but close to restaurants, cafes, and public transportation. The outdoor area was a huge plus. We would happily stay at this property again.

Relaxed stay
After a very long, rough travel day, it was a relief to reach the apartment. It is as advertised and met our expectations. Easy communication with the host. Short walk to bus and train, although the stepped bridges are challenging with large suitcases. Also convenient to supermarket and vaporetto, which you can take to St Marks and Giudecca. So, a good place to stay if you do not want to be in the middle of tourist central.

Comfortable, clean 2 level apartment with private backyard patio.
This apartment is an easy 10 minute walk from the Santa Lucia station. It was clean and comfortable and equipped with AC! Erika was a very responsive host and Irene made us feel at home when we arrived to check in.

Nice quiet neighborhood
This is a wonderful house and it comfortably slept four adults. The back courtyard is a bonus and is an extra room in nice weather. The kitchen is well furnished and we cooked in often. This is my second visit and I'm already planning my third.

Lovely Apartment
This very clean and spacious apartment is fantastic!! All the comforts of home.The neighborhood is incredibly quiet. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain during our stay so we did not get to use the private patio but im sure it would have been great. Walking distance to everything!!! I highly recommend!!!

Nice stay in Venice
Great stay in Venice for few days. Well located close to 10mins walk inking from piazzale Roma in a quiet area. Only children from school are a bit noisy around 8h15 but it’s a good time to start visiting the area anyway. Place is clean with a shower and 2 toilets and also close to campo margarita for shipping and restaurant, bar. Really good communication with the owner and self checkin available for late arrival.

Nice apartment in Venice
Four tall adults stayed here comfortably. It was great to stay on the island of Venice and not have to commute from the mainland each day. Walking distance from the bus/train station. Plenty of room to spread out and an amazing patio to use (when it's not too hot). Surprised at how big the apartment was. Location isn't central, but still easy enough to walk everywhere. Would stay here again.

Beautiful apartment
Apartment was beautiful, quiet and clean. The A/C was fantastic and the courtyard was sublime. It has a dishwasher and plenty of kitchen supplies to cook. Our only problem was that we had Wi-Fi for our entire stay. We arranged for water taxis through the manager and Frederico was fantastic but Alvise was extremely rude.

Erica greeted us warmly and oriented us well. The condo was spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The weather was perfect so the patio was welcome. We really appreciated a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster and kettle. We easily walked everywhere. We felt like locals.

Perfect for a Family of Four.
This property was quaint and relaxing. It was close to the train station and a waterbus stop. There were nearby restaurants and sites to see. It also had a nice campo nearby. The kitchen was well equipped and a toilet on the main level. We used the washer and hung our clothes out to dry. The bedrooms and bathroom upstairs were as expected, comfortable and clean. Unexpectedly, we added two more friends a couple of weeks before arriving and albeit a little small for 6 adults, we enjoyed the flat. We paid a little more for the 2 extra people when we arrived. Our two friends used the sofa sleeper just fine, but the property comfortably sleeps four people. Be sure to read about the recycling so you don't miss it. Thank you for the stay - we enjoyed it!

Did not meet expectations.
The quality of this property was very much overstated in the listing. The photos are old and does not accurately represent the current state of the property. The couches were falling apart, leaving us covered in flakes of plastic and the twin beds are very hard; not well suited for an adult. Our towels were thread thin and see through, leaving us longing for a cozy towel after a shower. However, we appreciated that the property was well stocked with cutlery, plates, pots and pans. Location was far from the busy areas which we appreciated and found plenty of dinner options and a grocery store was close by.

Would have stayed nearer transport links had I known.
Although the property was all that was advertised, the 'waterbus' stop was not 'around the corner' as was described. Nearest public transport was a 15 min walk, nearly a mile - not good for me as I have mobility problems. Also there was a problem with booked transport to the airport to catch our flight home ( it did not turn up) We were told that the water-taxi owner's engine was not working. Which is all well and good, but why didn't he ring me to let me know or arrange for another taxi to collect us? Not happy with this as we nearly missed our flight. I didn't find the property manager very helpful in fact he made me feel 'a bit of a nuisance' but his team were more helpful and very nice. Other than that all was good. The property was very comfortable although the tv had no signal, but we did use the CD to watch films of an evening when not out.
