Located in the beautiful Gulf Coast town of Venice, Laurel Bungalow is nestled in the quiet neighborhood known as the Historic Edgewood District, just off the Island of Venice. Enjoy all the luxuries of Florida right under your roof or hop on your bicycle and ride 1/2 mile to the Legacy Trail, 1 mile to downtown Venice or 2 miles to Venice Beach or Casperson's Beach (the Sharks Tooth Capital of the World). Laurel Bungalow boasts a private heated saltwater pool, outdoor kitchen w/ Green Egg and gas grill, covered seating area with television, fire table, outdoor shower and detached "pool house" with a queen bed and home theater with 86" TV. The home also has a cozy screened porch with separate fenced in side yard. The main house has a comfortable living room, dining table that easily seats 8, kitchen, laundry room/bath, 2 bedrooms (one king bed and one queen bed) plus office with high speed WiFi. 3rd bedroom (with queen bed) is located in detached pool house. Our neighborhood has a playground/park, baseball fields, tennis & pickle ball courts. Conveniently located to all Venice has to offer~ beach, shopping, restaurants, theater, golf, bike trails, you name it! ~ and everything else you'll find right under your own roof! Laurel Bungalow is a dog friendly, non-smoking property. This is a private residence, with a private pool, and not shared by other rental homes.

Great property for our family
Neighborhood was in a great location for us to be close to all the attractions in Venice, our extended family in sarasota, and a boat ramp. The home was very clean with all the kitchen utensils you would ever need, and the appliances were very nice. The pool and the outdoor area is set up perfect with great furniture and cooking area. We really could not have asked for a better place to stay , and we already booked another stay for next year.

Fantastic location.....close to EVERYTHING! My wife is 74 and doesn't go to the beach much so the pool was a HIT! Tropical retreat!
The details put into this place is outstanding! Beautiful pool and lounging area with an outdoor TV and shower! Very clean. Side porch was great for the dogs to go potty and relax when bugs got bad. We even played Scrabble that was on the porch table! My son and girlfriend stayed in the pool house, and we watched some basketball in there after dinner one night. Huge theatre setting in pool house! Fabulous! We never showered inside! Great tropical retreat close to town and beaches!

Loved this house so much! Luckily it was available for a return trip. Every area of this home is so very nice. My husband and I stayed in the pool house this week, loved the privacy which allowed our son and family to stretch out in the house. Laurel Bungalow is a beautiful gem in Venice. Quiet location, comfortable beds, lovely outdoor space/ pool and the outdoor shower made us feel right at home. Winter Get Away
Getting away from winter and being close to our friends was our objective. We loved the outdoor kitchen area and the pool was beautiful. We used the cabana most nights with the theatre seats. The house was comfortable and the kitchen had every tool you could think of. We hosted 10 people for a supper and it handled this very well. The office was used more than we anticipated and it was wonderful for my husband. The hosts were amazing and went off the charts to help us. Thank you Greg and Edie.
