Country house near the Riviera del Brenta

Villa Emy is a large and charming XVIII century house, totally renovated and equipped with modern and period furniture. The House, surrounded by a delightful garden, is located in a quiet place, 10 km from Padua and 25 km from Venice. Children are welcome: for them a beautiful wooden house is located at the top of a large tree. Covered parking place available. Pets are welcome, provided they are tolerant with our cat living in the garden. There's no air conditioning but thanks to the structure and the walls of the house, villa Emy is cool in summer too.

We loved Villa Emy
This is not a house for ordinary tourists. This is a house for connoisseurs of life and art. Every object in it tells a story, and love hovers above. The garden is fairytalish. It has all the amenities for both short term stay and long term living. Although the cottage is huge, even on cold days the heating system kept us comfortable and in the evenings we lit the fire just for ambiance.The Internet has a strong coverage everywhere in the house, which makes it suitable for work as well as for leisure. Our host Karma took care of us in the most subtle way and we somehow felt him as family. And Emy, oh Emy, is one of the most gracious and graceful ladies I have ever met and when you meet her you know why the house has such a spirit. Enjoyed and loved every single moment!

This Villa was quite interesting with tons of space for all. My son discovered a hidden bookcase pocket door that closed off the office and a bedroom/bathroom, as if they never existed. Clever! The grounds look like they were lovely once but need some TLC to bring them back to their former state. We enjoyed being able to walk to a neighborhood pizzeria with pizza choices for everyone’s taste. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this Villa.

Beautiful in every way!
Villa Emy is beautiful inside and out! There is a bedroom with bath on the first floor, four more bedrooms (one with en-suite bath), and an additional bath on the second floor. All rooms are a feast for the eye with beautiful art on every wall and surface. The kitchen is very usable with high end appliances and lots of cookware and serving pieces. We easily enjoyed cooking fabulous family dinners during our stay. The grounds are park-like! Flowers, trees, cobblestone walkways, and at least 5 sitting areas spaced out so you can enjoy it all. Yes, Villa Emy is beautiful in every way and we can’t wait to return. Thank you Karma for an amazing stay!

Dirty and smelly
The hose smelles of old clothes, and due to the heat and moskitoes it was not possible to air it out. The kitchen was not clean, everything had to be washed before use. The bedrooms were large and overall clean, apart for the down stairs one. The host was friendly and helpfull

Stunning beautiful villa. Lots to discover
2 Families with adult children spent a lovely week in the villa. Lots of space for 8 persons. Very individal furnished and decorated rooms. Good beds and enough space to gather with the whole group. 100% recommendation for larger families. We used public bus to Venice and Padua. Easy and no stress.

Een prachtig landhuis met veel ruimtes en grote keuken. Inchecken was lastig maar lukte tenslotte. Ons doel was om regelmatig Venetie te bezoeken en dat is prima gelukt, geholpen door mooi weer. Voor februari was de verwarming in de ochtend prima maar eind middag en avond werd het kil. Internet werkte aanvankelijk niet, pas op donderdag gerepareerd.

The house was fantastic and the location too. Villa Emy is very special and we had a very pleasent stay. But on the other hand, there were no internet for the whole week. Furthermore the first 2 days the heating was not working. But than it was very cosy and warm. The only bad point was the tidiness. The whole house has to be cleaned completely. But at the end we had a fantastic stay!

Grande casa, ottima posizione
La casa di Stra è decisamente grande e accogliente, nei periodi freddi essendo molto grande è un po' difficile scaldare, come d'altra parte tutte le case di campagna non sempre abitate. E' comunque in una posizione ottima per raggiungere facilmente tutte i punti turistici. Avrebbe forse bisogno di un po' di manutenzione e di una riorganizzazione di stoviglie e lenzuola/ asciugamani. Il proprietario molto gentile e disponibile, check in e check out facilissimi. E' stata comunque una piacevole settimana.
