"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"The room was clean but for 3 people it was ultra small and a tight squeeze. The area around seemed more industrial and we did not feel safe staying out late. The staff were very helpful in arranging for a taxi as we had an early train to catch"

"Great place to stay while visiting our son stationed nearby. The breakfast buffet was always well-stocked and had a good variety of food for all tastes. The cappuccino machine was the best! The front desk was able to lend us a variety of items - outlet adapters, charging cords, etc… The only problem we encountered was being unable to get the temperature in our room low enough to sleep. "Room was nuce, clean, perfect for 2 people. Our room had a small kitchenette with a stovetop burner, small sauce pan, and a few other kitchen supplies. It worked well for breakfast but we opted to go out for supper. Overall the hotel was nice. Staff was friendly. And the paid covered parking was acceptable."

"Don’t take my rankings for this hotel meaning it is bad. But we have been in Germany for over two weeks and have stayed at 6 other hotels, and this was the one that just didn’t meet the same standards. It is in a great area and the room was pretty clean, but they do need a good amount of maintenance. The coat rack fell out of the wall, there was a missing magnifying mirror in the bathroom (just a post coming out of the wall with nothing attached). I was hoping for better for the price and the...
